ok well im still in high school and i am writing this research paper for a composition class and wanted some ideas. i was going to do how memphis got its start in the car audio business but i didnt find much. so does anybody here have an idea on a topic i can do that involves car audio in a way? thanks guys

I have a genesis coupe and am doing the big 3. I have the 2 negative wires done ( battery to chassis/engine block to chassis ) done but I was wondering about the wire from battery + to alternator. The stock wire goes from the alternator into some black box and then to the battery. What is this black box? and When I hook up the big 0 g wire can I just simply run it from the alternator directly to the battery. Will this mess with sensors or regulators or anything? thanks.
