sorry took so long to respond. I have the big three done with 0g Knu wire, a kinetik 1800 powercell under the hood and a 100amp alt. and the powerwire is 4g bc thats what the amp takes.

i have a Kenwood KIV-700. it has 4V preouts.

So before it blew was the amp staying on, even after the car was shutoff???

I dont think it did, I didnt notice any drop in my batterys voltage..I have a kinetik 1800 under the hood.

Hooked up my AP15001D to a DD3515, was only runnin it at 2ohms with the gain set halfway...after 3 days the amp went up in smoke and stayed on when I turned the car off... Im not a total noob however I have no idea what happened with this one. Pics included are where the Power/REM/Neg hookups are. Could it just be a overheating issue? the setup is in a trunk. Thanks for any help.
