keep in mind if you do that you'll have equipment over the window line and may hvae to change class. not sure what the rules are for what you compete in.

well i want to thank rusty for some fast shipping.. i sent money 2 thursdays ago he shipped the 7.5 last monday and i got it tuesday...i put the 2nd one in on saturday and wow.. im scared to turn it up.lol heres some pics

Get. A block that has 16 holes 8 on each side then run 8 runs to the block from battery then 4 to amp that's goin to be the best way

Don't use bussbar there's not enough inputs..go directly from battery..your chokeing amperage going from 2 to 4 its defeating the purpose..

My only gripe is time....iid like to see bracketting done sooner and everything ran a lil faster...it shouldn't take 7-8 hours to do the show..as far as shit talking etc that's all fine I like you dale..like I said I know we can make it run faster..thanks and see you soon

he ripped those things like 5 months ago. and i flew to home depot and got him some gorrilla tape lol.. hes been running them like that since then.. i think he cleaned the tape up a lil better.. shit i even stood on that sub when he had it out.. hes like stand on i,you cant bottom it out you wont hurt it... great job rob as usual

Any other new designs? I was talking with rob at a show couple weeks back. About his red hoodie....I want one..heard you didn't make them for some reason...also some new colors on team shirts and or jackets would be sweet....like white team jerseys...black and white jackets...and or multiple colors id do red etc...

I sent back my 400a alt late last week cause it took a dive on me..well yesterday I get a email from eric saying its inline to get looked at...then just a couple hours later I get another email saying.they found the problem fixed it and it should be shipped out yesterday...:-) thanks eric matt and the rest of the crew...awesome customer service and warranty....also great product...I've posted before that without a doubt mechman alternators have brought me many victorys in the lanes and a state championship...I'm hoping for a dbdrag world finals victory...merry christmas guys...

I almost bought the m4as sir I had the m4s and do miss them best amp I've had so far...I have the dc 7.5 and I'm getting a 2nd one.. on mayhems now..in fact my 400a alt took a pdive on me last week just got a email from eric saying its in line to be repaired...:-).. mechman makes quality alts....this is the 1st failure I've had..were as I had some other alts that failed on me 6 times....try the upgraded ground..were r your amps grounded in back? To the front battery only or frame?
I tested the m4a and man that´s a monster amp, but having 2 7.5k´s is just CRAZY, very nice upgrade indeed, you use a single 400 alt right? 12v system or you have some crazy step downs? hehe
I´m using a single DD m2a @ 0.5 ohms right now, i have 4 runs of 0 gauge that comes from the single hc2400 on front to the buss bars on the back, remember that i used 2 batts on the back but i started testing the SPL Gains topic and i haven´t came back to 3 batts again, so i have my 4 runs of wire to the buss bars, and from there, to the amplifier
I have 3 alts... smd 350, 270, 400ball mechman..the 400 went out..also I have there adj harness .and 6 - xs d1400s 14v batts....

That's why the big 3 works..it upgrades your ground from motor and battery...the aternator back half case is the ground of it.it usually just uses the bracket as the ground through the engine block to the frame..put a 0g wire or 2 from mounting bolts to batterys..also do big 3 sir and how are
