If its new...it mite be jumping the gap.how much power do you have on it? I've done so many things to my xls its ridiculous..from breakn triple joints, snapping neck joints,burning formers, dimpleing formers,tinsels hitting cone,subs jumping the gap etc....could be a below tuning enclosure issue

Almost sounds like tinsels are shorting.. check them and or speaker connections..mite be amp or rcas also

D1.4s are always dark... I've seen all vc configs at dc headquarters and its the d1.4s..

Yes you do. 12 of them installed and ready to go. I wired up a couple amps just to be able to make sure everything played. About 400 watts a sub max is all they may have saw. No vidz just, turning it on
Bet it was loud on that lil power... you bringing her down the hill this weekend..........the fogs been crazy.. be careful either way

I use 1/4 on my xls.. make sure your sub is centered before you drill holes... my major issue is t nuts like to push out and or cross thread easy.... glue them in from the back a dab of ca works well.. its goin to be a bitch if your speaker cutouts aren't tight lining up the holes but t nuts are a lot stronger and allow you to take subs in an out without stripping holes with screws

Kick scores are a lot higher but I don't compete or test that way.. sealed on the dash is the most uniform imo.. not taking away from the outlaw competitors.. its just more real world to me..

Do you have a seperate charging system? How do you charge 16v batts? Eitherway it souldnt matter to amp since its off

I've tried both strapped and unstrapped zero diiference... so I left strapped and the bassknob... its a lot easier to tune just 1 amp

X2 on bill....awesome fabricator. Also a craftsman with wood.. the box he built me has won 30+shows state finals and set a national record..

Xl was imo the best daily sub from dc.... I simply loved mine and I miss them.. they won me 30plus shows this year a state championship and a national record.. did 155s with them.. if I know rusty the new ones when they come out will be beast.. and you better believe ill be setting records with those too.. DC ftmfw!.................

I would say most are. Depends on sub oriantation chamber size etc if you build it wrong it will sound like ass. If its done right its brutal

So do I ... found out yestersay the 12k doesn't like .175 daily lol it played and was super loud probably a 156 plus for sure.. so I'm wiring it back up to .7... the game is on.. the disavantage is too chode since he only has 2 subs... but hey there neos so that makes up for it...:-)

Why did you blow them? Wrong box
