1. If you make the box taller, to the height of the back glass. Then make it less deep according to your math. You could fit 5 subs plus ports and amp I believe. Forgive my lame ass text drawing, but it's quick and easy. But you'll get the idea. When everything is in place it should line up nice if you are looking for a general clean look. Plus you can pass the amp wires straight through the box for that clean no wire look.

    ______________

amp_

    |sub |____| sub|

sub sub sub

port ____ port

____/ \____

hes going under the seat

  2. I have same issue, when I hook up my VCM to my quad setup I can't lower the voltage below like 15.9 volts if I have all four alts hooked up, If I hook up three I can't drop it below 15.0, but if I just hook up two or one alt to the vcm and other just connected to the stock harness, I have all the control in the world.

I have the same problem with one or 2 it works fine with 3 i cant drop it below 15v and i have it on a switch and every time i turn it on it peaks at 16.3 and i have to re adjust it real quick befare it blows my computer or something. why is that nathan and why does it lose its memory each time? i wish it had a potentiometer or something so it stays at were you put it at. i just use it for comps cause it wont go below 15v and you said dont charge the batterys higher than 14.9

  3. damn...nice thanks bro!!

making this amp more temping. now i know you get more box rise out of strapping an amp in lou of a single stronger amp so im still having troubles deciding between the Cactus K9 and the 2 DC 5ks...i know the 5s will drop right into place though because there the same size as the AQs

Have you clamped those aq"s? not to say the DC 5ks are weak but i dont think you would see a difference in scores . why not go with 4 aq 3500s thats what i want to do. :good:

  4. I took back my fluke meter today and bought a true rms ammeter, then i went home and with 2 of my buddys and clamped my amps.I have 2 DD m4s rated at 3500w @1ohm at 11.9v on 4 DCxl-18s wired to .7 strapped. Heres my results.I tested on a 38hz burp, 152.5v and 78.2A = 11925.5watts @ 1.9ohms not to shabby. Thats 2981watts per 18 and im sure they could take a lil more, ive been pushing them at my last 3 shows and cant get any of them to fail. lol not that i want too. Excellant product and of course excellant customer service. merry christmas to all at DC
