I ran 2 dd m4s at .35 daily clamped 12 k out of them best score was 156 switched to 12 k same impediance .7 bridged .35 per channel an I did same score 156 .. Ran it at .35 bridged .175 per channel an it played but I didn't leave it like that or recommend it with any amp .. Lol

I had a angle bracket puncture bottom of my d1400 a few months back it let off a rotten egg smell I took it out voltage was still good I think I accidently mixed it in with my battery bank do u think it can be bad under load if voltage is fine

It's cause d series isn't meant to be under hood it can't take the heat ... I had it happen to me also use a heat blanket ...

So I bought 6 phase singer alts internally regulated hooked up my original avbm that ran my other 3 older style alts an it wouldn't wrk with more than 1 alt I have a triple alt setup .. Contacted Mechman tech said old style wasn't strong enough to turn on all 3 guaranteed new one would work so I bought it hooked it up and same thing now I'm stuck with 2 avbm an want a refund for new one since I was misinformed emailed an didn't get a second response pretty bummed hope I can get this resolved .. Was finally told I have to run external regulators why wasn't I told this in first place .. I run 14v batts an need to charge 16 v minimum

Shouldn't matter but it's bad for reg to be on and alternator not turning I have triple alts an use to swap to one for a class in meca I was to to unplug the regulator or I could burn it up

How do you figure a recone will make it handle more power ? Why not just get a lvl 5 that's rated to take the power instead if trying to overpower your sub

I was a gain for me on meter by .6 I run my Tahoe on 16 v all day for yrs it doesn't like 16.8 but 16.2 is fine like stated most a/ b amps protect I run zapcos sundown an a few others have nice highs amps .. I never drop below 14 v

Unhook sub wires from amp plug rcas in turn on if it doesn't protect then it's coming from bad sub shorted sub wire etc .. If it does protect its rca issue most likely
