  1. If its in good shape, $100 is a good deal.

What subs are you referring to? What's the coil configuration? If they are dual 2 ohm or single 4 ohm, then yes, it can. It won't push them to their full potential, but they will be fine.

If you're talking about the Jackhammers in the ad, I'd personally pass on them. I personally haven't heard an MTX sub I've liked. Though to be fair, they were all in prefabs. :/

The subs i have now are in my sig, SVC 12" eclipse 87121.8 subs, they are 8 ohms each. 300 rms 600 peak. I am trying to talk the dude down to like 70$ cause a new R500-1 is like 140 shipped.

  2. Some lady is selling one on craigslist, she told me to shoot her an offer, she has no idea what it does but she has looked it up on ebay. My question is, is it a good brand? and what should i offer for it? Its a Tektronix Type 535 A oscilloscope. "Tektronix, Type 535 A, serial # 020331

it is on a matching cart that has a drawer above it. I checked ebay and only came up with a few ideas so check around and make me an offer" her exact email to me.

  3. Personal would prolly be your best fit...... dont quote me on this but I think the premiere is for businesses?

They had three kinds, personal, premiere and business. Im opening one to order a few things off of a forum user here, but maybe later on down the road i might want to sell something, you cant use a personal to receive payment can you?

  4. I thought they were dual 4 ohm, so 8 ohm total. ;)

You need a amp that does 600w RMS at 4 ohm.(never look at peak ratings they are useless.)

This is a decent amp, and doesn't costs that much.(and if u want to upgrade you just need to buy woofers that u can wire down to 1 ohm.)

If the aduiopipe does around 600w at 4 ohm it should be good too.

I was set on that audiopipe, another forum user had it in the same gen saturn as mine running an 18, his screen name is E1it3bass or something of that nature. He had a better battery though and im sure it was wired @ 1 ohm.

  5. your subs probably hate you. Clipping the dog shit outta em

That made me laugh man, yeah in all seriousness I'm sure they do but i didn't know a damn thing about all of that besides distortion before i joined these forums. We have 1 local car audio shop and I'm sure they don't even know WTF a termlab is haha. When I get my new install up and running i will for sure get the amp tuned properly and what not. Like my remote bass knob is all the way up is what i meant. The H/U is set on 00 and the loud is off.

  6. 1997 saturn SL, has stock alt + battery, think the stock alt is 85-100 amps but this one has seen better days. Lights don't dim what so ever with my brights on sitting in a parking lot with my system like to my max listening level. Amps bass boost is full and so is the gain.

  7. Yeah just get a decent amp that does rated power and you'll be happy. Check our classified (forsale sec) and you might find one in your price range.

Yeah i don't want another junk amp i saw a AQ12001d i think it was in the FS section that i was interested in. Just to clarify does it have to be 600w x 1 @ 4ohm PEAK or RMS?

  8. Uhm.... wish I could help but like I said I'm on my phone so I can't surf the web quick..... someone will tho I have faith in our members!

So do i. I have recieved a lot of good information from these forums, and its made my love for bass grow a ton. I appreciate all the help man, anything really is a step up from that pyramid lol 75w x 2 is just plain horrible i have no idea what rms is x 1 @ 4 ohms but i doubt its much better.
