2 12" lvl 5 + direct leads to 68945
5k, 7.5k, and 9k to 68945

Pretty sure fix my speaker sells motors too? or used to? Could be wrong.
Your best bet is probably to just look for people selling motors in classifieds or subs in need of recones...and use the motor from that with whatever soft parts you want
they sell motors but they have none right now ill just look for some blown subs n see what i have to work with
-
I tihnk partsexpress has a few things too
couldnt really find anything on there
what else are you looking for ?
just the motor

i was wondering where you could get subwoofer parts because ive always wanted to make my own
so far i can find everything but motors
fixmyspeaker.com has: coil, cone, basket, cone cover, coils, spiders, and lead stitching

if doing so port it through the rear deck so it can load off the back glass
i thought about this but my rear deck has these 2 metal peices that go right under it

I will be building a 4th for my SA-12s in my trunk soon I'll be putting up comparisons of it and my current ported box and have all the termlab numbers and all that good stuff
you should send me the results once you're done with that
ill be doin it with either 1 15 or 2 12s havent decided yet
and on a 4th order u want to tune the ported area high right? roun 45-50 Hz
-
would it sound nice? or would a nice ported box work better.
4th order bandpass box in a trunk ported section facing forward everything sealed from the trunk
-
id rather get a cd tbh what if ur comp crashed? money down the drain? unless they have some sort of backup on the site.

daily shower, wash ur face when u wake up and before u go to bed, might sound gay but my sister talked me into doing a mask the other day and my god it felt good lol, chocolate is the worst acne giver ive ever seen, dont touch ur face, i just use a bar of soap to wash my face then use my sister moisturiser to put moisture back in cuz the soap makes ur skin dry
o n a trick is.. wash ur face with warm water rinse with warm water then splash cold water on ur face. hot water opens pours so u get dirt n shit out cold water will close em back up

Yeah it's always fun getting a demo from someone where you can actually smell the bass. lol
lololol

From my experience, they can get loud, but aren't the nicest on the meter. I had my 15" XL on a little over 2k and managed a 145.0 even at 36Hz. That took A LOT of work to get to that number. lol. But to the ear, it was always pretty loud on anything I put in there. Probably because the car peaks around 43Hz and 43Hz is a good "loud note" in a lot of songs. lol
thats exactly what i noticed when i metered with 4 10" jls i hit a 137.7 XD running off 2 alpine mrp-m500s alot louder to the ear then the meter but this is gunna be daily not comp so loud to the ear will be my goal. loud n clean not just loud like every wangster around here. all u here is distorted ass treble sloppy bass n none of em listen to me when it comes to tuning amps. bass boost is always a must for them. n who fries subs? they do
-
Cool deal man. I'll be looking out for it. It'd be nice to see someone else actually try to get loud in an Alero.
dude honestly aleros get loud as fuck... when my friend totaled his ride he put his 2 12" type rs off a alpine mrx-m100 in a box i made for him tuned to 34 hz. it scared the crap outa me the lows in aleros r godlike compared to other cars
im running up on 205k miles though :/ im pretty sure ima just replace the engine if it goes out cuz ive already put twice as much as its worth into it... n to many memories that arent worth losing XD n it was my first car so ill keep it forever

Friday.... Friday... 18... 19... 20. It's April. Haha yeah, with those prices, as long as you wait until you are in good shape to maneuver power tools, you can have yourself one damn cheap box. (In terms of cost. lol) Take pictures. Pictures are always nice.
lol ill prolly end up building it friday cuz i get payed thursday so itll gimme something to do all day
ill take pictures of everything
design is done sub placement look alright?

I'd say it's time to go buy some wood, glue, screws, and silicone.
good thing i get 4 x 8 sheets of 3/4" mdf for 10 bucks a sheet
friend works at the local lumber yard, he gets a workers discount, when he's bored at work i help him build "his" (my) box ^^ free cuts, free glue, free nails
definitely not building it this friday though XD will def mess something up
-
I still think 3.0ft^3 is a tad on the big side if you plan to send it much more than it's rated 600wrms. But tuning and port area looks good. Looks as if you took everything else into consideration as well as far as displacement.
If you want to keep height and width, you'd have to shrink depth in order to drop net volume. That would change your port measurements up too. So it'd basically be plug and play until you got the tuning and port area measurements back to the same ballpark.
k gimme a few minutes n ill have another pic uploaded
got it near 2.66cuft
got it near 14 cuin Port area
and tuned where i wanted it ^^
so does this look good now? lol
-
ok heres the final outcome after everything you guys have told me ^^
yea ive talked to u about that 15 remember im planning on running --> http://www.sonicelec...te-R750-1D.html running at 2 ohms ofc
getting the D4 P3 so ill wire it down to 2 ohms
u ninjad me -.- ill just seal another peice of mdf to the trunk opening then screw the box to that...
this is going in my alero.
-
Your height is fine as you subtracted 1.5" because of wood thickness, just slim the width up to drop port area, and that will take substantial length off of your port man. 50" is crazy long. lol
ninjad u ^^ look 3 posts up haha sealing at the trunk so i wanna keep it at 36 wide
