  1. the battery is not its own ground

ground is introduced for ease and safety

It just happens in car set ups, the negative is grounded. In old cars, positive used to be ground.

To answer your question though, yes you are hooked up right. You should put a switch inline with your REM wire. I am using an old light switch that we took out of my kitchen when we remodeled.

If not, you can make your own switch by bridging the 12V to the REM

this is not recommended tho, youll drain your battery the first time you forget to take it off.

Also, please do not use a lead acid battery indoors. If it has hella warning labels all over it, leave it in the engine bay.

  2. Play BMF driving down the streets of my local "hood" in my 1989 corolla with spinner hub caps, and the funky pups doing 200dbz, and pulling a hair trick from 500ft out side the car.

you need funky pups. this guy got 200dbs and hairtricks from 500ft outside the window!

    but on the reals

probably not gonna have any luck with a trunk system =(

i feel you man im drivin a civic. and wanted a convertible for my next car

unfortunately, neither will put up big numbers or move some hair haha

  3. its transistors

i have it as a headphone jack pass through so it only taps into the signal

    its an NPN transistor

ill try and make a schematic for you guys if you want

i have it on my electrical software but i havent taken a screen shot or anything

its hella simple when you understand the basic principle

my next step when i get the components is gonna be a 3 zoned LED thing

itll have crossovers involved so that i can get different channels like Bass, Midbass, and Highs in different lights or zones

  4. some LED stuff I mess with. subscribe if you want, I usually put up some stupid shit I build every couple days. This is my major in school but I havent started any classes so this is all research.

this is actually 12v so it would work in the car. Hit me up if you wanna figure out how to do some of the simple shit. I want to do my whole interior with some powerful ass LEDs reacting to music
