  1. what year is this car? sorry if i missed it

how many wires do you have coming out the back of that?

run a DMM to then and see if you get anything

if not then they are probably speaker outputs depending on how many pairs of wires you got you could always do the battery phase trick to see if you can hear one of the speakers click

and do you got a picture of the back side of the radio?

are you doing this for a pal? or are you out of like a shop or soemthing?

  2. toss the back seat and wall off that bitch? haha

the 10" bumps if it was a bigger boat I would throw some nice subs in it. But im only workin with about 19 feet here

I am probably gonna fabricate my own back seat. Fiberglass cooler style haha. on a boat, a cold beer is more refreshing than two 18s

I do have hella space in the engine compartment tho....

both sides have got like 30 cubes easy....the problem is theres a big seat in the way and my dad would not want 18s in the boat haha

right now im gonna focus on the upholstery and shit

    then the dash

    then the mids again

after that I wouldnt mind revisiting the bass

  3. This is a walk around of my boat system. I was working on it earlier this year, but took time off since Miami gets so fucking hot starting at the end of April.

I have built a new box for the sub. That one was not cutting it anymore, massive air leaks, shitty carpet job.... etc...

Eventually I will be building a new dash with new gauges and switch panel and LED indicators.

here is a video of the prototype circuit

excuse my hairy ass leg. I couldnt figure out another way to get everything in the shot. :drinks::pardon:

I've got a 5 ch 700 watt amp up front thats driving the coaxials and the sub. Eventually I'm gonna toss these speakers and throw some kicker marine components up front, and the kicker marine coaxs on the rear bench. Then might add some speakers and a marine wired remote on the swim deck that way you can jam from behind the boat in the water

  4. yeah man it sonds like a voltage drop issue

I run a system off a spare battery in my bedroom, the way you know its time to charge, is that it shuts down for a second when the voltage gets low. Same thing in my boat when I'm not running it. Its time to charge when your radio or amps power off for a sec and recharge in order to turn back on. I dont have a Volt meter in my boat or bedroom so idk how low its getting. All I do know is that it does exactly what youre saying. 10 volts is hella voltage loss and your deck thinks so too. :nea:
