  1. welcome to the forum haha

i am proud that you are actually asking about these things rather than listen to the typical crap rumors or just blindly hook things up

depending on what amp you want to run, different subs give you different options

check out how wiring in parallel or series makes a difference, and also some times you can hook up each VC to a channel but only if you can set a two channel to mono but it would be better to do mono most likely

  2. ive heard of this stuff too and am actually pretty interested

starting up for an electrical engineering major and will most definitely be looking for this kinda stuff in theory.

messin with this stuff as basics is fun in general but throwing it into an auido set up would be bad ass

  3. I like that. Looks nice, I may have to do something like that even though I don't want to. The picture gave me a good idea how to do it now. ha, thanks bro.

& skittles I tried bolts and nuts on my box and i was getting frustrated with tightning them; so I basically was like fuck that idea, and now that's gave me a better idea

    :trippy::pardon: post fail haha

  4. Basically I want to stay away from using bolts on my box for speaker wire to be bridged to 1 ohm. I want it done on the sub, then 2 wires run out ot the box to the amp. Does some company make an adaptor where I can plug 2 8 gauge wires into some comtraption/connector, and that forms down to 1 to fit into a sub push terminal?

edit: btw i know i can force them in the terminal, but i'm picky and want it to look clean.. I dont like all that messy wire hanging out of the terminal...

    try this mate!

    use nuts and bolts

    IMG_2459.jpg

those are 8 ga ring terminals and some bad ass lookin chrome nuts

you want serious power you need serious hardware

in the pictures, it is only mocked up but those terminals fit 8 gauge wire

ask me if you got any probs or questions

  5. Look through that site I posted. They also have a wireless one with USB input and I think you can even create patterns via computer for it. Better price still too. And it does all of the patterns and stuff. Streetglow used to be king shit for lighting but now they're becoming the JL of car lighting. Good shit but way overpriced and you can get better and more for cheaper.

oh shit, usb ftw then man

that would blow the ebay junk out of the water

  6. man idk how much better thos are, but you can get loads of LED color changing strips from ebay for mad cheap. I have gotten them and lined the shit out of my boat interior and they look bad ass they are RGB and you can adjust them with a remote, and multiple remotes for different sections. so you can click any of the preset colors or adjust the three spectrums "RGB" up and down as much as you want.

does street glow offer more control? then it might be worth it

  7. What do you guys think? Maybe there are some producers out there that have the answer to this, but they might be biased if they are on this site

I have always wondered, are producers bumping these tracks on some crazy bass systems to influence how the end product will sound in OUR cars? Or are they generally just designing a good beat that will sound good in everyones car?

Some times I feel like producers are secretly making their bass really kick ass, because they are obviously around equipment that will reproduce the sounds, and 90% of everyone else cant really get this performance from their music

    what do you think?
