that bracket will fit a 99 tahoe 5.7 wont it, if so I want it. is it a Dc Power bracket.
It does go on the drivers side, it is a dc bracket. And it fits my 01 Tahoe. Idk about yours. Check their site.
-
do you have pics of the bracket? sent you a pm as well
I can get some tomorrow when it's light out.

I have a BNIB dc 270 sp alternator
And a used dual alt bracket used less than a year.
They fit most GM vehicles
This one was bought for my Tahoe with a 5.3
$424 shipped for the alt
$200 shipped for the bracket.

Just quit, well it still works just not at the right voltage.

My dc just went out, kinda like yours. It wa charging at 14.4 now it's more like 12.5, just mailed it back to them today. Had to call them and get a rma number to send it back.

That's just sick! Makes me want to put a ls2 or lq9 in my tahoe
-
Well considering that engine never came in that truck, no I do not have a kit for that.
Well it's the same as the 4.3 just has two more cylinders. I used the 4.3 alt/ac bracket and same belt.

Hers is the blazer and a few things I have done to it for those of you who haven't seen it.

I have a 1988 s10 blazer with a small block 305 in it. My question is do you have a alternator or dual, triple or quad bracket for it?
-
why would you not drive the tahoe daily? makes no sense..just don't keep it full tilt when you drive around all the time.
I do drive it daily. I dont play it at full tilt all the time, and still stuff is breaking.
-
um you can pound your shit and still have a nice ride. invest in some dampening material and put a shit load on and call it a day
Dampener won't keep stuff from breaking. Like my rear glass something has broke in there the switch, key, or button won't open it, and my sunroof power switch only work in one direction now.

So I have found some things messing up in my tahoe. I have two 21" death penalty's pushed by a new 40.1 and it is murdering my tahoe. Do I tone it down and go with a SQL setup with something like a pair of lethal injection 12's or keep going the way I am and have a junker for a daily driver. Or do I break out my 88 s10 blazer which already has a layer of damp pro all over and custom door pods and great kenwood hu in it, just sitting out back wasting away, and build a clamshell wall for it? Only problem with it is it has a old under powered small block 305 in it and when you turn the a/c on it overheats. Could I find alternators and beakers for it? Or do I find a good used 4.3 to put back in it or what? I need some help guys. I can't really keep destroying my daily driver like this.
I love driving my tahoe to all the places I work, I travel ALOT for work, and showing of my system and blowing peoples mind. This would stop if I fixed the blazer because it isn't a daily driver with the a/c not working right and the 305 lacking power and still drinking a ton of gas.
