Nope but Mr. Meade is using them for midbass atm in his doors I believe
EDIT:hes using 8 inchers, but I imagine there the same sq wise but hit a little lower.

Kicker cvr's are in that price range but how much better sq wise can u get than rf?
Could always just buy another set of cerwin vegas to replace the old ones...

no i'm saying that the midrange and the tweeter are bot rated at 40 watts rms but the speaker crossover is rated at 300 watts rms

3 ways and what do you mean by matching the wattage? do you mean to match the wattage with the tweeter and mid which is like 40 watts
Well if ur speaker is only 40 watts max then u might want something diffrent and probaly older.

Yeah u would need to check ur x-overs,are they 2 ways or 3 ways? if there 3 ways id imagine it would be fine, also wats ur wattage of all the other speakers in the tower? Id try to match that as close as I could.

Yeah stock...then you've got shipping on a 70lb sub on top of that 450+ out the door. Usually 300 plus ship is what they go for used. They don't depreciate that quickly.

I was talking about stock, are those maxed out bl's at 250? I still think thats a tad high, fully maxed out there like 350 or so, meh Ill just stick with the kickers then.

Oh didnt see the first was a sub, either or really, with stuff like this u could probaly sell it to a noob locally if u dont like it, so id try either one, plus u could always say theres something wrong and get ur money back (..jk of course...)

I understand they have there own site were there sold new, im not that retarded. and the 15" btl is only 380 new so used should be around 200-250 Id imagine.

I looked at ebay and there was nothing, I was looking at kicker cvx'es for 170 (15 inch), the ql/bl should be around that used right? and the btl should be around the low 200s used right?
any were selling these, not in the market as of now but as soon as i sell my rf mids/highs and netbook I was gona buy a sub or two for my future build.

they're going bad cause they're brand new.

Try to get a refund/replacements if wat ur saying is true.
Also are u trying each individually to see if its all the subs that are going crazy or just them linked up. Could be 1 or 2 bad subs and maby not all of them.

The aq is 250 new, the kenwood is 200 new and the last kenwood is 250 I believe, all fine choices.

2 12" cvr's on a kenwood 500rms amp would be around that, (kac-8105d) would be around that, theres more amps out there but i know for a fact u can get that all for 300 refurbed off ebay, if i was u i might just try to find a better amp/make sure ur subs are getting the right amount of power first.

hey guys, new here, just joined.
Right now I have 2 12" rockford fosgate punch p2's being pushed by a 1200w amp.
I'm looking to go with something that will hit harder. My friend has one 12" kicker l7 and his is louder than both of mine, yet he has a 800w amp. I'm not sure what's wrong with that. anyways I'm selling what I have to a friend for pretty cheap in hopes of starting fresh.
I need some advice as far as what to look for next. I've been looking at cardiscountstereos.com for a little bit and their prices seem good, is the site legit ?
What's ur amp? if its a offbrandish type it might not really be 1200w as in his might be a high end and really be 800, also depends on the box, also urs is 1200rms correct and his is 800rms, if u get them confused then his really could be 600rms, and if hes running at 2 ohms or lower or something he could be pushing way more than 800 watts anyway if its rated at 800 at 4ohms.
I also heard the cvx'es are better than the l7's, same motor just circle, same power to I think, Im also looking at the Hifonic BXi 2006D, 2000rms at 1 ohm witch would match 2 cvx'es perfectly.
Thats just my noob 2 cents.

I7 is over priced, Id wait (i dont think there out) for the amd hexacores, same with the gpus, ati new series kicks ass, and it would make it alot cheaper. but if ur a intel man thats ur choice, either way its gona be a beast.

No exp. but what kind of headphones/speakers are you going to be using, if ur using heapdhones I sugest this
http://www.astrogaming.com/products/detail/69/MixAmp/ with some nice heaphones will beat crappy 5.1 headsets anyday, and it does usb so theres no need for a sound card.

So ur stuck getting 2 amps at 1ohm or running them at 2ohm, that sucks can u return them for dual 4's instead? then u could just buy something like a hifonics 2006d and run it at 1ohm.
