I would have to say the 2 T40001bd the rate of power consumption would be less as if you were to run 4 T20001bd. Not to mention the wireing would be easer!

Just like Meade's box in the Tahoe but with only 1 woffer!
You cant go wrong with that woffer but you'll need to buy an amp that can push that much power! Then your gona need to look at electrial up grades. If this is gona be tempuary I would look at trying to stay under 2000Watts total power!

I would just buy 1 15" and spend the rest on the amp, wires, and box materials! build your self a CRX style box and you will be golden! you'll be heard more like felt! then up grade later when you get hte cash! thats what I would do on your budget!

Well I'm running just under 3000watts and i have 6 blue top optomas in my systen with a 260amp Iragie alt and I still have voltage drop. But I'm also running a/b class amps when I up grade to D-class the voltage drop will decrease! if that helps tou any!

if you want DEEP loud bass you would want to go with a 15" or 18" woffer. The 2 12" will be loud but it will be more of a Punchy bass.

Figure a yellow top opt battery is around 730 CCA, so 3 of those batcaps would be 900CCA. how many watts u gona be runnin?

If your looking for SQ then I would stay with MB Quartz, RF, Alpine the higher priced componets. I have had experience with Infinity, Boston accoustic, Kicker and AudioBanh and IMO these still sound good and are comparable in price.

Its defenitly loud no mater where you sit. in the back set IMO you feel the bass more. in the front seat you feel the air move more. And yes with the back windows up it is louder if your in the front seat. Its just loud period!

Thats what I take when I go Dirt bike ridin with my boies! bon fire like no other! we usely end up havin people from the near by camp sites ask to come over and kick it with us. Dirt ridin all day, party all night. Pass out and do it again the next day!

I agree! the strain is a bit much but that 260 amp Iragie alt handles the abuse preaty well and keeps the bats on full. The only time I have issues is when I have my head lights on. But to fix that issue I will be adding a second 260amp Alt to the system. I will also be up grading my Amps, Woffers and rebuilding the box. More geared towards Spl but will still have good SQ.
