ill stick to my MDF then, i have a pretty good design ive been perfecting because the SA-15's that r going in my new build dont come out to late november
-
yeah i like MDF too but by me the best price is like $37 for a 4'x9' sheet of 3/4 inch
-
Birch is expensive lol
-
I already have the baffle built and its 2.25" thick lol so i got the baffle under control.
-
are those better than MDF?
-
ok ill go 3/4" this will save me some money and ill just do a good amount of bracing. thanks

What would be better for 2 Sundown Audio SA-15's. 3/4" MDF is what i want but would 1.5" MDF make it better? Or is 1.5" too much?

I know that but im just trying to find a good one for a good price. even though a 1999 plymouth breeze is one of the coolest cars on the road its still hard to find an HO alt to fit it hahaha -

I'd say 3500 RMS 4200 Max, this is just an estimate because i still have time before the SA-15 get sent out to figure out what im putting in. -
Now that i will be dropping 2 SA-15 sub in my 1999 plymouth breeze (a just for fun build, nothing serious), I probably should up grade my alt because im gonna be running about 4000w total (includes speaker, subs, leds, and maybe HID's, ect.). so my question is what alternator would be good and fit this outcast from the audio world car? I can get one from mechman but its $600 for just a 260 amp alt. so is their any cheaper anyone can find?
