Friend posted this on facebook. If you have seen it already then
1. Go to Google Maps and click on "Get Directions."
2. Enter "USA" as your start point.
3. Enter "Japan" as your destination.
4. Go to the 31st point on your route.
LOL. Have fun with step 31!
Hahaha how are you suppose to bring your car with you?

Yeah. If you don't paint it black first, it takes a LOT of textured paint to stop seeing the mdf.
Some prime it with some black then lay down the textured.
Yes. If you put a coat of black primer on first, it will take half as much of the textured to finish it off.
Alright thanks

Wrap it in some Louis Vuitton leather
Hahha get me some

Well I think I'm going to paint the box with Rust-Oleum Stone Black Granite.
And paint the port with some flat black so it's nice and smooth. Just got 1 question should I prime it or let it be?
-
Has anyone heard of www.bargainshore.com? They have carpet pretty cheap. 10'x48 for $12.00 + $7 shipping..
-
I keep looking at the fake snake skin vinyl... That would be bad ass!
Hahhaa yeah.
-
I was looking on that site and found this
Black vinyl with your seats would look good imo
Yeah that's what I'm thinking. I'm about to a couple of yards of it.

If your seats are leather, you should do vinyl.
They are grey leather. I'll look at some vinyls too.
-
Textured paint looks realllllly nice on a box. Get black fleck stone paint if you can find it.
You want your port smooth though so use something without texture for that.
Yeah I saw a couple of boxes with the texture paint. I like the way it looked. I was going to paint the port flat black, so it would be smooth.

Carpet is so much easier to make look good than paint.
Here's where I always get carpet. Ships very fast and pretty affordable.
Did you try the 80Wide superflex carpet?
Yeah, I've tried it. Good stuff.
They also have a ton of vinyls and other fabrics.
Hmm might be looking in getting it. Thanks
-
condoms....
na but seriously...truck bed liner
Hahha yeah one of my friends was telling me to use bed liner also. Just couldn't find it anywhere for a decent price

up your budget and buy carpet...joanns fabrics or whatevers in your area should have stuff to cover with also
Hmm alright I'll check it out. Yeah I was looking at some places online for automotive carpet..
-
I was thinking about priming it then painting it black along with the port being black. But I was also thinking about carpeting it and painting the port black. I couldn't find any good prices on carpet.. Suggestions?
-
Why are you even asking? you know very well what you are doing my friend, don´t need our help, that box looks great in my opinion
Hahah well this is my first time building a box and all. SO I just wanted to make sure
-
I changed the width of the port from 3.25" to 3" and got it tuned a little bit lower 32.12 Hz and net volume is at 4.03 cubes and got 13.43 port area per foot and port area is 54.00in^2
-
good volume for the 15's. i had older BTL's in 4 cubes net and it got nice and low. i had less port area tho. it should still sound great musically
Alright good to know.. Maybe I'll take a couple of inches off because I was looking at the wrong thing. Lol
-
Lol oh I was thinking it was 5.59 cubes because I heard that that was the cubic feet of your entire box.
-
So the total cubic feet of the box is almost 4 cubes?
-
Net volume is the whole box itself of just the port?
-
Bump for other opinions?
-
Well I thought the port area had to be 12"-16" per cube.

Has anyone ever used this brand of window tint film or heard of it? The window tinting place near my house uses it and they said it would cost $175 to tint my whole truck and remove the old tint on the 2 front windows. I just want to make sure the tint is good quality?
