Those HiFi amps are garbage from what I have read. Definitely go with the AQ.
I'd take AQ over a hifonics anyday, but Hifi def aren't junk when you're running clean power to them, setting gains right, and not clipping like an idiot.

I got 2 kicker cvr 15s in a sealed box and I don't know what amp to get for them... Willing to spend up to $250
Check that out ^
Free shipping too

I fire forward and still have rear speakers. You just have to isolate them. Now if you dont seal off you'll get cancellation The difference is night and day from a full sealed to a half sealed. trust me.
Sorry for the noob question, but what exactly is "cancellation"?

okay so im about to change things up a lil in my system. i wanna recone my fi sub and put a 4inch coil in it now that they offer it on there site. i was wondering since its fully loaded and with the 4 inch coil, how would it hold up as a DD with the audioque 2200d? i know how to set the gains properly.
With proper electrical and clean power , it should slam man
Is it an Fi BTL? Or Fi BL?
it is a fi bl fully loaded but on fi's site they now have the option for the bl's to have a 4inch coil instead of the standard 3 inch, i belive the 4inch holds more power. im running it with a t1000bd and it seems to want more power lol
Yeah it'll def take more power, audioque 2200 would be nice. you should check out the sundown 2k also. you running that sub at 1 ohm?
-
It'll play all day every day if you know what you're doing.
Knowing what you're doing goes far beyond setting gains. If you don't know what i mean, then you aren't ready.
this ^ and personally, I would design a whole new box after you get the sub reconed and that 4" coil in.

I've had this blue screen you're talking about, it gives me some error code, then dumps a grip of data. Every time I started my computer it did this, best solution I found was to just restore the computer.

i recently got offered two funkin audio 15in sx subs and i have never hurd of this company i know they went out of busness and i have looked on google i just havent found enuff to help me fell safe on the trade if anybody can helop me with info i will be very thankful
Hmm, they're 800 rms. They seem alright, use google correctly and you can find all other specs
Although yours are the sx, could be less.

No offense, but if you're asking about wiring ohm loads, you shouldn't be buying TSNS woofers.
Its alrite, its a great sub, and I got a good deal on it. I'm doing my research before hooking all my shit up.
do you have the power to throw at these subs so you're getting your money's worth out of them?
Yes sir I have 2 audioque 2200d's. I figure thats good enough to start.

May I ask what subs you're using. Along with the rms rating.
TSNS 15, 5,000 rms. Yeah its going to be for daily use.
-
Yes. But why?
Well thats my 2nd question, I know the lower the ohm, the less resistance in the flow of power right? I heard of dudes running soundstream amps at quarter ohm and have virtually no voltage drop.
-
For two DVC 2 ohm subs can they be wired down to half ohm?
-
Hey Jp selling his for 2600$ with box

No idea ha never had a 15 so I've never paid attention derrick will know haha wall 1 15 that just sounds goofy.
Lol 1 15 (or 18) in a wall, well....completely defeats the purpose of a wall haha

naa do 4 lvl 4 15s on 4kw or 6kw if you really want to push it
If money wasn't an object at the moment I would be down...no worries, cause tax return time is coming and I feel a build coming very very soon
-
Ya ok that's what I was thinking. If it was my build I don't know enough bout inverting it to feel safe about it honestly where if I could get enough space in there with out going inverted I would do that first then research inverting better if it came down to it. My opinion only.
True...thanks man. I would rather not have a LVL 5 motor sticking out anyways. I'm going to take measurements of my trunk see what I come up with. I think I need 3.75 cubic feet for a 15?
2000 Saturn LS, dc lvl 3 15"
