  1. how to install a battery in trunk? what all do i need to install? Trying to keep voltage up

Ground the battery (make sure you sand the metal)

Positive from front battery to your rear battery (positive)

    thats basically it

    ground your amp.

then run another cable from your rear battery positive to your amp positive...its not that hard at all.

    thanks BDz good info...

np man, enjoy. adding a second battery always makes the bass more "grungier" and low

  2. Bought these almost brand new with the intention of doing a wall in the civic, but moneys an issue right now and I need these gone. I bought them through Tim @ Audiotistics. Mechanically 10/10 Cosmetically 9/10, and I give a 9 cosmetically ONLY and ONLY because one of the speakers surround it looks like it got rubbed against something, nothings torn its just lightly scratched...if you wanna call it that lol.

ONLY 2 SUBS ARE AVAILABLE now

125 each or 200 for both!

If you can come pick these up we can work on the price, PM me for details on location etc. I'd rather have these picked up but if I have to ship than I guess I will. Don't be afraid to make offers, just don't low ball the hell out of me lol.

Like I said they're in excellent condition no scratches on the motor or anything, just had em covered up in my garage for a couple months.

  3. ~facepalm~ that is a crossover. what do you think a crossover is? a crossover network? most crossovers do nothing for the mid, its all -0db@3khz or -3db@25khz.

the only difference between your "cap and wires" and a crossover network, is a box.

and i could tell you what capacitor to get for the tweeter, just put a DMM on it and tell me the ohm load.

Alright, well thats why im asking, I wanna get rid of the popping noise. They are all 4 ohm, and I have 2 4ohm 6x9s in the back, can they all be wired to 2 ohm?

if you wire the bynines together they will be on a 2 ohm load, but will be mono, not stereo, if you care about that, and have you actually had a DMM on the tweeters? i need to know the actual ohm value before i tell you what crossover components to get.

    Ok let me go check

  5. the tweeters popping is from them getting lower frequencies. so ya, you need a crossover. sometimes they will put a cap on the speaker as a crossover, not that i've ever trusted that to be a good crossover.

yeah its a cap and some wires and stuff in it, like I said I believe its just a high pass filter. on the site it says "Just jump wires from the secondary terminals on the mid-range/woofer to the tweeter terminals."

But still, I wanna get crossovers, which would you guys recommend for this pair?
