today one of my fellow fire fighters was killed in the line of duty and i know this is a place for car audio and everything but i was wondering if everyone would keep Joey King in your prayers this man was a second father to me and taught me everything i know
we will miss you brother that you for serving our community and the US i will miss you always and for ever man
Very sad to hear. Im a fellow firefighter out in California so i first hand understand the loss of one of our brothers. This is never good news to hear. Try to stay strong out there and ill be praying for you guys.

I didnt know thats what trippi was running. If i didnt have a new h/u and processor for my rebuild i would have been all over this. Maybe trippi can chime in about it. Or anybody that has used/ seen it..

Man that was a fun trip.....Alpine can honestly say not everything that happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.
I would hope to make it to C.E.S. again. We got our passes already but, seeing how it is going to be in the middle of the week I don't think I can time off for it.
Hmmmm. Since you cant get the time off you willing to hook up a fellow bass head??

We need dimensions of the box too. And I agree keep that brand new stuff and be sure you get your gains set proper.

since it seems you are looking for opinions, i would like to see better shipping materials. my batteries only had to travel 2 hours and the Styrofoam was all broken and the box had holes in it where something poked through and there was nothing to protect the battery from whatever it was. then a friend of mine got a battery that was damaged and leaking. you guys sent a replacement but that one got damaged too. so i really think the packing materials need to be improved. its not good to buy something knowing you are gambling on the product surviving its journey.
ive ordered at least 30 XS batteries in the past and none of them had so much as a blemish on the box. I think the packaging is pretty good myself. You got some real bad luck it seems.
Steve youve gotta remember.. you are Steve Meade, not skittles, not rxdriver, or any other person in the eyes of the seller. All 3 xs batteries Ive ordered have come with the foam all broken up, 2 of them have dents in the batts, and the boxes are all beat to

You are a humble guy but dont forget some people know the affect that one video from you could do for their business.for your theory to be correct, XS power would have to be doing the damage themselves, based on how much they like a person. I doubt XS power is poking the holes and denting the boxes up.......and i HIGHLY doubt i have so many fans at FedEx that i get special treatment LOL. The packaging is fine the way it is IMO. So good, i have kept every single box in case i sell some of mine and need it to re-ship.

Dude if I worked at Fedex and I saw "Steve Meade" on the box I would be like "oh shit thats that dude with the Tahoe, Ima take care of his shit". Would you ship a 15" SMD in styrofoam? It weighs 4 lbs less than a d31..
By the way this convo is all love for Steve and XS, just giving my 2 cents on the only thing I found wrong. And I wasnt BS'n when I said you were a humble guy. Im the guy you sent crossovers to a few months back so you get nothing but love and respect from me

Just got thru setting up my amps w/ the DD-1 and LET ME TELL YOU, WOW! I was really missing out before! It sounds WAY louder now, and much cleaner! The DD-1 was also really easy to use. I just want to say I am SO glad I broke down and got this tool, thank you Steve and Tony! This is exactly what the world of car audio needed!
And to anyone still waiting... trust me, it is WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!!!!

HOLY S@#T. what a difference it made. I reset my current setup before i start my rebuild and man it is a day and night difference. Anybody waiting should get one. You wont regret it.
