Alright so im curious about upgrading my amp in the future. Right now i have an AQ1200D with 2 SA 12's which are 600 watts rms each. If I get the step up from the AQ1200D, the 2200D will I overpower these subs to death? The xmax is .7 inches and i think im hitting that right now so if it goes over 17 will i loose control of the cone and die? lol sorry if im not making sense but im just wondering if its a good idea to upgrade say in a few months?

unless you know everything about subs boxes and building them i wouldnt go with such an expensive set up

weather stripping helps a lot, its not half ass either never said you didnt have to add deadner i have deadner and weather stripping. The weather stripping stops the trunk from vibrating and banging against the other metal.
