I don't want my trunk to vibrate obnoxiously loud so what's some good deadener to use to help that and how many sheets should I buy?
Why dont you just put some weather stripping on the trunk, drastically helped my trunk

Maybe your amp isn't 1 ohm stable, wire it to 4 ohm and see if it still clips
my amp is one ohm stable

if you dont like adjusting certain things every once in a while then theres no point in having an audio system IMO. do what i said, problem solved.
i think your taking it the wrong way, i dont mind adjusting every once in a while but its ever song is different. Sorry if i made it sound offensive i love my system just need to fine tune it some more

yes, thats what i do when it happens but i dont like doing that for each song so im wondering if theirs a way to set it so it doesnt come on at all.

ok and another questions is about my subsonic filter, ive heard that if your box is tuned to say 35hz like mine youd put it at like 30hz because it can hit that range of bass

Doesn't mean you don't have songs that aren't clipped turning on your clipping indicator.
yea, but when i turn my volume to 25+ the clipping indicator comes on and im just starting to feel the bass:(

how do you have a hard time NOT clipping? i dont understand
i dont know what your referring to but im having trouble setting my gain so it WONT clip the subs:) right now its set and every once and a while the clipping light comes on and annoys the hell outa me

Alright so heres my question. I have 2 DVC 4 ohm subs wired like this
My amplifier has 4 speaker lead connections (cant remember the name)

Im only using two of them the positive on the far right and the negative on the far left, is that correct?
Im having a hard time setting my gain without clipping all the Bass boost features are off and my preout is set to 15 (max) and my gain is about 3/4
im wondering how to set it without clipping and i tried the dmm but i must be doing something wrong
any ideas? thanks
