im in the exact same situation, but i already have the aq1200d. I've been told a bunch of things but they mostly said that the sas dont like that much more power. i made a post on it i cant remember what i called it tho

well then to make it stronger it needs a skeleton. use small dowels across the opening and put tape on the top and bottom of the skeleton structure.

hmmmmm. you could probably get away with 800 watts each. Since my kicker comps survived all the clipping we gave them. Kicker makes good products and i know people who have put more that rated to them daily.
