Nathan,
I posted on page four but you didn't answer me so ill repost it again. So here it is again.
Alright I know that a D3400 will fit in my 2004 chevy malibu. Under my hood I have a red theme going on. I really dont want a blue battery. I noticed that xspower has a s3400 that is the same size and puts out the same amount of amps and its red. Is the only difference being that the s3400 has a steel case? Will the s3400 perform just as good as a d3400 in car audio spl setups? If so does a s3400 qualify for the group buy with free shipping and whats the cost?
Thanks
My bad. Im a noob. What is automotive posts? In the pictures the battery posts on both the d3400 and the s3400 look the same. Will this still work?

What will fit in a 2004 Chevy Malibu. I took some dimensions and a D2400 Seems like a tight fit but I'm not for sure. I saw they go by BCI standards. What is the BCI Standard for my car? I want the largest most powerful battery I can get under my hood.

You put the hurricane nut in from the back, then screw your bolt in through the front.
Yeah I know thats the same with a t nut I'm just wondering which is better?

From pictures I've seen of hurricane nuts it looks like there is not much meat to hold them from stripping out. I believe the whole idea is to tighten these down as tight as you can right? How well do these hurricane nuts bite so they don't strip out?

I'm wondering what is the best way to hold down a 75lb sub. I read that t nuts were good and hurricane nuts were good also. What do you guys think?

I'm in need of all the t/s parameters for a Cascade Design Omega 18. I'm building a box for one but I dont have any of the specs for this sub and cant find anything online for it. Also does any one know the Xmax for this sub.
