    I don't like the idea of drilling a bunch of holes in my wall to run wire through and plan on using some bolts and ring terminals and I was curious if there is any impedance change using that method? Would you guys recommend stainless, brass, etc?

    I don't believe that there is any change in the Independence, Just wire each + and - to its own bolt from each sub. Then you can always change by using small leads on the outside of the box to change for like going to a comp and driving daily. Most that I have seen on the forum use brass bolts. hope that helps

  25. wiring pioneer headunit

    so re wiring a new/used head unit I got got everything but one wire together.

    head unit is DEH-P6800mp

    gmc 1500 1996

    problem is off the harness that clips to the factory unit has 2 orange wires left, orange/white says dimmer and solid orange is illumination/dash light. Off the pioneer harness I only have one solid orange wire, on the site says it should be orange/white but mine is solid orange. pioneers sight says Orange/white To lighting switch terminal.

    so not really sure what one to connect I think its orange and white to the solid orange.
