  4. Color Bond Dye

    So i picked up some parts that were all different colors for my truck and i didn't care since I planned on dyeing them got some hard plastics vinyl and all for it and was am going to dye them all black picked up 2 cans of the vinyl leather and plastic dye and 2 cans of the carpet dye got them in today. Only had time to dye the vinyl door armrest from the 88-98 Chevy trucks,Tahoe and so on if you know what i am talking about. I will say one thing this stuff is amazing coverage and the feel after 10 few min or drying off i really like the way they came out. I will have to wait to get everything in the truck to see how it does after use but as of right now i loving the way it turned out. I don't have any before pictures but one was dark blue and other was grey and i dyed them both black i will get some pictures up within a few hours letting them fully sure b4 messing with them a ton.

    I do have a lot more parts to do center console and door panels will be next then ill probably need more cans to do the dash and rest of the pillars and so on. so there will be before and after pics if these when i do them.

    Just thought i post this since there are a lot of people that want to change the interior colors and save as much money doing it.

    Not sure if anyone cares or know but the phone came out last week and I was first in line to get it was excited was following the phone for a while online and reading up on it. Got the phone home got to play with it for a while and here are my thoughts.

    Battery life is kinda horrible unless you get the extended battery then its not to bad.

    Screen does not have the best quality for being a new phone the droid x had better looking screen.

    Tons of Bloat ware on the phone from verion, not motos fault on that one. Yes can be removed if/when you root the phone.

    Some other things that are just annoyances to me are that the on/off/sleep button is on the left side at the top not sure why it wasn't left centered just weird to get used to.

    Overall i give the phone 6/10 not pleased with all the hype it was getting to be a great phone it really wasn't returned mine today back to my old one till something else comes out.

    The first step is hooking gauges up to it. It may just be low on freon. If you go to any auto parts store, they will have R-134a you can buy with a gauge attached to it.

    If the pipe going in to the evaporator (in to your firewall) is REALLY cold and getting frosty your orifice tube is most likely clogged. It's an easy fix, but not something that can be done at home unless you have a vacuum pump handy.

    Edit: Did you jump the compressor at the pressure switch? If so, don't do this too often because you will burn up your compressor. The pressure switch is there to protect the compressor from high AND low pressure.

    That was the first thing I did was check the Freon and that's fine and full.i believe it is the tube that runs to the evaporator but ill have to look at it again in the morning.

    yes just quick jump to see if the compressor was bad or not since its not turning on with out it being jumped.

    will do what I look into it in the morning.

    You may have a actuator that switches between hot and cold, I had the same issue with hot and cold not switching. I think it is called a mode door actuator. Could be that. Get a odb meter and check it. (rent or borrow one from a auto store, they are like 250 if u buy 1)

    Hey guys, does anyone here have experience swapping the cell phone on your line, online?

    I know it's possible, but what I'm wondering, is there a limit on how many times you can do it, in a certain period?

    Right now, I have the LG Ally, and I absolutely HATE the piece of shit.

    Some time over the summer, the Droid 3 will be released (rumored to be in June), and my parents are going to get it for me as my graduation gift (2 more weeks by the way, fuck yeah!)

    Anyway, my friend said he would give me his original Droid, since he's getting a new phone VERY soon.

    What I wanted to know is, could I swap to the Droid now, and still be able to swap to the Droid 3 when I get it? Or is there a limit on how many times I can do it?

    If i take this correct you have the lg ally now with Verizon and you want to swap to the droid then to the droid 3 when it comes out. As long as there is nothing wrong with the droid that your getting as in being able to activate you should be fine to swap phones all you want.

    Field & Stream, Columbia, Frogg Toggs, or Under Armour. Can't go wrong with any of those for rain gear.

    carhart makes the best rain gear I have ever used. I live and work in the oregon coast its all we get for 7 months RAIN.

    Hey wondering if anyone knows of some good rain gear for working in that is durable and will last. The stuff they give us at work last me like 2 times and its ripping/tearing at seams or holes in it.

    I work as a longshoremen for the port of Baltimore so working on heavy equipment and standing out in the rain hooking up rigging and on the ships lashing containers. So looking for it to be durable not to heavy hi visibility would be nice as well. If anyone knows of any or uses any in there work or what not link me or give me site brand so I can try and find something. Much appreciated
