I i like it tuned low.. I used your the same box design you made me. Just modified it a little to get the most cubic feet for my 18" bl or q when i get it.

Boxs gets painted and I am cutting probably 2 inchs in where the middle seat is, so i can have an armrest next week.

Out of FI i am really leaning toward the Q for SQ.

But how bad does a BL sound in comparisons to a Q?

( i have a truck so the sub is right behind me. I dont want it to sound bad)

How much LOUDER IS the BL?

Will it sound worse than a MTX 9500?

I think there pretty close in Price. I have fliped a coin between the Q, Bl and Dc, and Here where the results

Dc ( head) Vs. BL( tails) 10 flips

Dc 4, Bl 6

Now Bl (Heads) vr. Q (tail)

Bl 3, Q 7

Q vs. DC

Q 6, DC 4

I think what ever sub I get from these choice are all going to be pretty close,

The Q will have SQ

Bl will be louder

Dc, SQ but louder than Q

I'm running Bl 18s and love them. They hit the lows awesome, even in a small box @ only 5ft each. With options they easily handle 1600watts each daily.

1200 rms isnt alot, and i think nismo is giving his 1600 rms

You can push a lot to them I know someone with two lvl 3 15s pushing 2000 rms to them,i also have a friend with a lvl 4 12 pushing 1200 rms to that.

What would you be using to power any of these choices?

MTX 81001 amp Ran a 1 ohm, Then after I get the sub I will get another and another amp and strap them so about 3k wat rms..
