1. they're 1000 watts a piece, not 3000. don't look at the peak rating of a sub

2. for $500 a piece, you can get a much better sub if you stop looking at overpriced - buying the brand name - subs like alpine.

Check out DC audio, Audioque, AA, etc. Lurk around on the forums more to see what people who aren't brainwashed by local dealers trying to make a buck are running in their rides and what they are doing with them.

i have 2 sundows SA-12s but they over heat because i use them for everyday use what can i get that will beat his thats around the same price.

hey guys i have 2 SA-12's and i have about 300$ to buy an amp with what kind of amp should i get and how much watts. i tired searching for the same question there was 1 topic but no answers.

they push about 600 watts each but people have been telling me they are very underrated

agreed, and to the op yes they should fit but itll be tricky building the box depending on how you want the subs and port best bet would be to move to 12's and if at all possible id reconsider using kickers, i hated the 15 i had and cant stand my friends 3 12's they sound like crap imho
