Ive got one ? dont u need a min of 300sqin of port, with those four subs without have port noise......the reason i am askin is cause thats what Im gettin and i figured it up and got a min of 300....nice box though

I going to order a 300amp alt from EA, and then get three yellowtops, 1 under hood and 2 in back, but I have another ? should I have 2 runs of pos and 2 of neg to the first batt in the back and then hook up the other one to it parrell right

port - 49.5x6.5, I need a min of 319in of port area, tuned to 34hz, but the port calculator I use says I only need to make the length of the port 7.5in

i have a 1606 and have had no problems, they never get hot and arent that big if ur crunched for space, they are over rated though like everyone says around 1200wrms is all u get

im just goin stick with a 1606 on each lvl4 15, the way i thought about wiring which was wrong i just figured for the same size box why not go with 8 10s and 2 1606s but i was wrong so ill stick to the original plan thanx for all the help..

the only reason im stickin with the 1606s is cause i already have one, and im not rich by no means, gotta keep alittle money back for the quad

although i only have each of mine running at 2ohm apiece and the gains are only up 1/8. they bang. i'd love to hear them both play at 1 ohm. anyways i understand ya bro .......... but some folks just can't get the best of both worlds with a good amp and subs. i myself just happened to catch a deal on what i have now and will be upgrading my amps after i get my rims on my Ex.
