More power...& i heard that if you throw a lot of power to the subs a smaller box would help handle the extra power better.... the tuning will be the same.. the port will have to be done over aswell

smaller box usually provide more cone control to handle more power and usually have more impedance rise making it less efficient...atleast what i read.

I had sub fwd port up in a ext cab chevy once...the port loaded off the back wall and made the lows shine nice because it delay the wave longer rather than having it any other way.
