    I'm gonna go ahead and throw out my bandwagon and say a level 4 with level 5 softparts...2 of my level 3's got louder than 2 3512's off similar power (probably 400w) less on the level 3's..but enclosure is everything..that 3515 and AQ will want a bigger box unless you use more power. Dc's like relatively small boxes

    What??? Bigger than 4cu.ft

    i have a 4cu.ft tuned to 35Hz for tha AQ

    Thanks man . . .Almost decided to go with the MX because it LOOKS so BEEFY . . . i think ill go with the AQ . . any other suggestions?

    Ohw , and what about the battery . .

    It does look beefy, I'll give it that. I was dead set on the RE XXX15 before I heard so many negative reviews about the newer models.

    Your amp pushes out 1500wrms at 1ohm, so if you don't want to upgrade your alternator I would go with the Kinetik hc1800, it has better stats than the Yellowtop. I would also recommend doing the Big 3 upgrade, and use 1/0gauge wiring for everything.

    So i sold the mtx 9515-44 , darn it dry.gif

    and now i dont know which sub to get for my setup (daily bangin)

    i have a MTX TE1501D and a 4cu.ft vented enclosure tuned to 35Hz (dont want to sell . .keeping both)

    I was looking at the AQ HDC315-A , DD3515(550usd @ local audio shop) or REaudio MX 15 (my bugget 400 - 550 max shipped to Suriname)

    Also thinking of getting a deep cycle battery for under the hood , cant decide yellowtop or kinetik hc1800 (stock alt) (these are only two options here in Suriname) dont want to run multiple batt'spardon.gif

    Hey SMD Fans

    I would like to have a device that alerts me when i'm getting a call or sms on my phone while i'm in my car.

    But without having to activate my bluetooth on my mobile phone because that shortens the life span of your phone battery , one that does not require bluetooth therefore never having to charge it . . just to hook it up in my car like a digital voltmeter and just blinks or lights up when a call comes in , like an indicator.

    I don't know if you guys can remember , a couple of years back they had a antenna for the TDMA phones that lid up or flashed different colours when you got a incoming call . . . maybe theres a device that works like that , that you can put in your car.

    The reason for this is , when i'm in my car i can't hear my phone ringing or feel it vibrating cause the whole car vibrates when i turn my music up , you know how it is , and i don't have the habit to take my phone out of my pocket every time i'm in my car .

    Does anyone know of such a device .

    bro when i type in the dimensions of mtx specs in bass box pro im getting = a net vol of 3.944 cubic ft, box vol = 3.456 cubic ft, port tuned to 30.55hz. mtx recommend a 2'' port blink.gif 15'' are 3'' port for d least, not so? with that specs im gettin 121db at 50hz peak.

    i jus did a quick mod 2 the enclosure Net vol of 5.832, Box Vol of 5, Vent= H 16 x W 3 x D 17 (port it tuned to 35.5hz) and im getting 124db at 50hz peak.

    i not to sure if u could get more out of it i dont hav time at this moment, but u can see thats an increase of 3db smile.gif

    its all up 2 u. but they say in a smaller enclosure u can put more power 2 the sub

    personally i tink mtx specs is good i jus dont like d idea of a 2'' port

    if i were u i wud use mtx specs, recalculate a 3'' port at 30.55hz an use it instead of d 2'' port smile.gif

    hope this help..oh yea i calculated for a T9515-44 at 2ohm

    Man, i have one of these subs , and that is impressive a 3db gain is like doubling power . . .i shoud try that software . . .cause i allways wanted more bass out of my mtx t9515-44
