Thanks guys How will these fair daily? Thinking of running 1 to my two level 5 18s... in the future getting another two level 5 in 15s and get mine reconed to 15s with another ns1.... 4 15s walled with 13k ... Or would two 3500s instead of an ns1 be a safer option?

Just want to know the best way to set my 1500Ds to run one voice coil each? Im thinking, all lpf all the way open (hu will cross over), then with the gains at minimum and a 50hz tone, find the weakest amp. Then scope this one and gain match the other with the dmm? Don't like strapping the amps any more, something isn't right when they have been strapped. Cheers.

Hi all, I'll be removing my baskets from my 18" 5s. Just wondering are the baskets glued to to motor? I've been told the screws are glued so ill need to use an impact driver to remove them. What glue shall I use to glue them back in? Thank you dudes.

Are they okay for a daily amp or just a burp monster? Voltage doesn't drop with 4 sundown 1500s @ 0.7ohm and a weak battery bank, what ever I set the reg too it stays at... holding the rpms up that is. D3100s going in soon.

Would aluminium twice as thick as copper be better though?

Would Copper make much of a difference compared to a decent thickness of aluminium? I can gets aluminium pretty cheap whereas copper is twice as expensive.

Hi all, I'll be buying new batteries soon, two d3100s for the rear and another xs up front. I was thinking about spending a little extra and going for another d3100 but would it make much difference over a d3400 or smaller? 500a+ of alt, 7kw of power. Thanks.

I don't no... think a pillage drill and some fancy drill bits should be able to do what I need.

A milling machine would cost a fortune lol. I've done bus bars with a hand held drill and they tuned out quite well, I think a pillar drill will keep the holes straighter.

That's just what I want! I need a drill press!
