    I would go AQ. Plus, the clipping indicator on the gain knob is an automatic point ;)

    Yeah I noticed that too. Thank god. Just wondering, say I have an 80 volt alt. Or whatever they call it. Like Watts, Volts, whatever it is for an alt. Say its 80. And the 2 Sundown Audio SA-12's with the AQ1200D. What do you think my voltage drop would be?

    I aint even mad tho. Just saying, if you had the comprehension skills of a middle schooler you would have realized what I was getting at in my previous post. Just sayin' ....

    The AQ bends the AP over. Aq can do .5 daily and at that load, can easily whip the shit out of the Ap.

    Did anyone else notice this? Why the hell are you telling him the AQ can run .5 daily? He clearly stated he has a budget, and in order to run ANY amp at .5 ohm daily, you've got to have a beefy electrical. This is another example of noobs giving noobs dumbass advice. OP, yes AQ will give you cleaner power, but PLEASE, don't listen to the post stated above. At your experience, I wouldn't run any amp at .5 ohm. Not being a dick, just giving you precious advice.

    the aq is rated at 1200 but it can do more than that with good electrical

    like i said on the first reply in your other thread, aq1200 would be great for those 12s, an extra 150 watts per sub is not worth the quality aq will give you over ap, this is what i think

    Notice you said good electrical .. Uh oh. LOL. I was going to run it on a stock, then eventually buy a battery for the back. So... We shall see how this goes :) Thanks for the advice and help, really appreciate it !

    im sure you will be fine on stock for what you want, im just saying people have clamped the amp at higher than rated, by running clean pow2er with good electrical, basically it will do whats needed for your subs, but upon being able to afford the big 3 or better alt, this will help the amp perform much better

    Just use 1/0 wire.
