  1. I'm actually looking at the kicker Cvr 8's now. What do you guys think about six of those? I wish i could do the DD's but they are outta my price range and i don't think i have the power. i'm just lookin for something different, how badass would it be to show someone up with six 8's. I really want some of the old sundown e8's though i can't find any let alone six.

  2. I was going to do a build using three tens, but since then figured out six eights had more cone area so decided to go that route. Question is is I'm looking for an eight that is reconeable so I stumbled across th RE8's and was wondering if they are reconeable? If you guys have other suggestions as far as different reconeable brands, I need six, budget is 300-400 for all and they need to be around 200 watts rms each. I really would like to get my hands on the old Sundown E8v1's, I know the E8v2's are coming out but they are gonna be out of my price range.

  3. x2 on every positive thing that is said about the rebuild. I just have a question about the ground wires that are going to the amps that are gonna be under the box. I noticed that some are pretty long, will that length affect anything? I would "never" question your know how just thought that grounds had to be short as possible.

  4. I plan on buying a new project car here in a little while and was wondering what youy guys think would be more practible. I don't know what kind of car yet, still brainstorming. I wanted to plan the car around the system. I would buy an suv and be done with it but I like getting loud from the trunk. Either setup will be in a PWK designed enclosure.

For power I have two Elemental designs nine.1's. 1200 watts at one ohm each

Setup 1- both amps with two DC level four with level five coil 12's(already have)

Setup 2- both amps with six Dc level two 10s, three on each amp

Let me know what you would do and why.

  5. I'd say test drive it first to see if theres anything that you don't like about them, then maybe compare it to something else that you might have in mind then test drive that and go from there. No doubt whatever you decide to go with will be pimp sh*t after you get done with it. Just a matter of seeing if the car will work for your needs/likes/wants in general.

  6. II had the same problem about a year ago, I used the the pack with the red and black tubes. You can get it at walmart in the automotive section or an auto parts store. Find out exacly where(or close) to where its leaking, clean it up a little with a old rag. Then get you some latex glove, mix the two tubes together then using your hand coat it on. You might need to coat it a few times to seal it up all the way.
