Today I went to the Indy races in Vegas where the biggest crash happened. 15 car crash left #77 Dan Wheldon dead. By far one of the craziest crashes I've seen and up close to. R.I.P Dan
Holy shit! I was watching an indy race on tv earlier, but I turned it, I wonder If it was the same one. I ain't watch indy, and barely nascar, but a damn shame some one died.

this is for my brothers hyundai elantra like 2000's model.
i was planning on trying a tline in this with two SA12's on a BC2k. but his mother wont allow it lol. so i figured a sealed off trunk would be the next best thing.
Damn, don't think you'd have the room for a dual 12 t line, trunk build. Even one takes up a good chunk.

I don't believe so. I've heard one t line, a rockford fosgate t2 12 off about 1000 rms and it was tuned to 44hz to match his bass boost. Not sure exact hz but to the ear it dropped pretty low and clean. I remembered him saying the port area was really important, but not too sure though.

Not knocking man. But if that box is 2.2 cubes and tuned to 34 hz, doesn't look anywhere near enough port area. Looks like a pre fab box. I use to run the shit out of jl. Jl is extremely picky on enclosures. Drop that into about 2 cubes with 28 square inches of port and tune it to 30hz, it will blow your mind If you think it sounds clean now. It'll drop retardedly low and smooth too. New enclosure, then clean up the back and shit and you'll be set. Lol yeah and my cousin had an "86 monte carlo ss with a 406 cranking 515hp, I had a 94 concorde, lol.

damn i thought we had it bad. they only get you in the knee or gut here, lol. but the cops in mishawaka, swat team for anything, you have beats in your car, youre a drug dealer and have a mobilemeth lab.

yeah lol nice. i probably would have. i know many people get them alot and so easy. around here the cops dont play with alot of that shit. i never got one though. even once when i was at walmart i set off a car alrm and a cop in his car looked at me smiled and looked down, lol. i always luck out and get the cool cops. not complaining.

i was just ut at a local park i normally go to, going to take some vids of my setup. got one down no problem. decided to make one on door flex. after a little searching settled with good ol king king. then a county cop pulls up. appearently he was watching me for a little while from across the park. when he pulls up first thing he asked was what song did i just play. decafs steppenwolf magic carpet ride. he wanted to hear it, and was impressed with it and loved it. i got off with a warning instead of a ticket, which i probably should have gotten. decaf saves lives! post if music helped you out before.

I have a 590 with a muzzle break on it. I pistol grip fire it all the time. I took off the break. It doesn't do much, mainly muzzle flash and for door breaching.

No it doesn't. Only thing back there stock, I guess, is the factory 4ch amp, mounted under the rear deck, just above the sub box. Unless it's hiding, but I've had that entire trunk apart and never seen one. Maybe it never had one. I didn't think it did.

Oh, and biggest thing, do not get cheap paint, it'll break in your gun for no reason, and bye bye accuracy and consistency, which key as these are balls, highly in accurate by design, unless you put a spin on them, like an apex barrel. And second, don't get a tippmann flat line barrel, not worth it.
i shot white box during rec ball and did fine expensive paint is usually only used for tournys, if you want some good paint thats best for you buck go with premium

like a old etek for 200 and those are fully customizable and easy to maintain and a ah for 190

Hell yeah, price doesn't always mean the best. And yeah I was best customer at my local paint field until I learned my guns in and out. And could handle anything that happened. Saved me tons of money.

And Brennan, I kinda already want to build one to my liking, so I may very well just go with the basic a5 and find parts that interest me.
Hell yeah man can't go wrong with that. That's how I started. Plus it's always more fun when you can have it how you like and not have to get crap and adjust. I'd suggest get the basic a5, then go to online stores to find what you want then try ebay to get then cheaper. First parts I'd look at is a power tube upgrade, cyclone feeder upgrade parts and a stock helped me, my gun loaded was over 14 pounds, it helped to shoulder it. After that play with the gun to find out what more you want.

Lol yeah, I like chrome on white, but I want chrome and white accent rims. Yeah I have a crack on my front bumper on driver side, and alot of people seen my pics on youtube and stuff and talked me at gas stations and stores. Lol gives it character. Yeah I have, and all of them have been in this car. Only when l I had 3 jl w3v3 they were louder. I need a better box, especially since my dd broke this one, lol. The front baffle is ripping out on the side of the box the sub is on. But still this is second loudest, but not far off as it was 3 12s vs 1 15. Lol.

The various firing options seems nice. Any thoughts? I know mentioned a $200 budget in the OP, but it's flexible to a point.
Yeah that'd be a good starter gun until you learn how to upgrade parts yourself and build one to your liking. I had an a5 with a modded ape board I used for, that plus some other upgrades to the air system and upgraded vortex mod, I was pushing over 20 bps, not the fastest I've seen, but I maintained great accuracy out past most other peoples maximum range. I just never had any problem with any of my tippmann. Great starter gun, and one of the few fund I've seen that can play in the rain and soaked. Winter games even with co2 want much of a problem with the cycle rate, where as my cousins piranha would have issues in the cold, but I doubt you'd play in winter weather,l lol. I'd check out vids on youtube of the guns to see. Too bad I don't have mine anymore, and we weren't closer, you could have seen what my and my friend marker could do. Big perk is replacement and upgrade parts are usually cheaper most other guns.

Stock, like almost every other gun, but upgraded, it can be a beast. I was a "heavy gunner" and a "marks man"of my group. I had the best range and most predictable shot placement. This was wiyh the same gun too. That apex barrel you get so much more range, better accuracy, plus you can hook and curve your shots around corners and into bunkers and such.

Chevy, I was checking out the Dye guns, but they seem so expensive. I'm guessing ou get what you pay for, ha? I'll look into Tippmans, everyone seems to like them (been reading various sites and reviews)

If it might help with finding a gun, I want something with a TON of range, a good bit of power, and accurate as hell. I'm a 1shot kinda guy, always have been. But I also like the ability to have a OH SHIT spray every now and then
My a5 with an apex barrel was getting people with first shot and full auto past 60 yards with ease, and my friends 98c got hits very often even further on first shot.

I'd recommend tippmann, the 98c or a5, it's like an ak47, never breaks. The only time my a5 broke was in the feeding system with stock parts but I was cycling over 23 balls per second. And that's after year of heavy use too, lol. Tippmann is so upgradable, and you cash makes any route of marker you want or need. Those others are good, but tippmann almost never needs maintenance our cleaning, and if so cash be completely taken apart cleaned and re assemble on the field in under 5 min. And I used co2 year with very consistent performance, I do recommend compressed air/nitro tank. Less chance of freezing our breaking balls, at least with me that was the case. The x7 is a good gun too, but it seemed admire more finicky and prone to failures than my a5.

Seems like it would be fun, so I might start playing. Get a little crew together or something down here... But anyway, point of this thread is to see if anyone plays paintball, and if y'all can give me some recommendations on a good gun. Also, share your experience with it. I don't know what to look for with a paintball gun, so I figure someone can help me find something. Am I wrong to expect something halfway decent for around $200? I'm tired of spending all my money on audio equipment lol
Depends on what type of games you will play. But I love tippmann, especial the a5, pretty cheaply got too. Locally they have them new for 200, so I'd curcio like ebay.. I mainly played scenario and woods ball. Mine was decked the hell out, had over 900 into it when I sold it. It was 5 years old and still sold it for 600. It's fun as hell. But you have to play with good people, well good sports. That ruined alot of games for me. But check out hell survivor, it's in michigan. Thousands of players, it's amazing.

Hell yeah bro, looking good. I had that bassworx box with 2 rf p3 and they pounded off 900 rms, then I dropped in my w3s, sounded ok, but once I put them into a spec box, damn... psychotic difference, you'll love it.

My jl w3v3 build was alot nicer, you can see half it through the photo bucket link, only thing you can't see is the 3rd w3 firing in through the trunk pass in the loaded band pass enclosure, those little bastards got loud and sound really good doing it too.

Not a bat system at all bro you got the right ideas only thing is that batt gotta go with a gel battery in the trunk those acid batts give off fumes and you actually don't have to run that cap and the battery if you didn't want to
Thanks man, yeah I know. Mainly lazy and last week where I'm at it's been high 90s, so too hot to mess with stuff. Only kept the cap because the volt meter, but it isn't that accurate, and once I can save up some more money I'm going to get an xs or a kinetik and just remove the cap.
