i came up with this idea today cuz i heard that i needed more cone area to get a better chance in producing a hair trick, while at the same time be efficient on trunk space. so i was wondering if this would work out or was it just a waste of time for me to make it on sketchup?? the height is suppose to be 23", the top ones would be 2 SA-12's and the front ones would be SA-15's. please help me out here im a noob. i need box design help, and oh this is going in a 96 Suburban. and i just made up the insides idk what the best way would be. thanks in advance.

i would like to know what are the minimal hair trick requirements?? and i am getting a SAZ-3000D and 2 SA-12's is that capable of hair tricking??

Hey guys I wanna measure my decibels to c how much I'm going to gain. I've seen many kinds. But the one that I want is the one that u plug I to the computer. Do u guys know what it's called and how much it is???

I am using a JL Audio 500/1v2. Planning on getting an SAZ-1500D in the future. And I've used Torres calculator, but I'm such a noob that it's useless to me cuz I have no idea what all the numbers mean. I type my measurements in and then I get all these numbers. Haha.

i am making a box for the sa-12's haha. i need tuning help for it though. and which wiring setup is better?? im guessing the 2 ohm one???

well since currently i only have 1 SA-12 the box is a small sealed box tthat fits 2 12's so i out the sa-12 in and disconnected the kenwood but left the kenwood in to cover the hole. and then did the same, i unplugged the sa-12 and only plugged in the kenwood and the Kenwood sounds A LOT better. why???

does the box make a difference?? Cuz for some odd reason I just bought a SA-12 and put in my old box that I had where my old subs blew, and tried it out. And I was curious on the diff of loudness and quality between my kenwood kfc-w3012's I have in my other car so I took them out and took the SA-12's out and tested them same song and volume, and the kenwoods were better.......so I'm like WTF?? Does the box have anything to do with this?? Or what's up??

i wanna make a box for my suburban, and i am getting 2 SA-12's currently i have a JL 500/1 amp, but prob in future will get a SAZ-1500D (Hopefully) and the dimensions i wanna take up in my trunk are 17" tall x 16" side width x 42" front width. and im planning on making it ported, with the subs facing up, can you guys teach me how to tune a box?? cuz this has been a constant prob for me, and ive used Torres cal, all those numbers are useless to me cuz i have no frikin idea what they mean! please help!

The clipping is because the gain can't be turned max, it makes a dirty signal. So how do I make a clean signal?? By not turning it max?? And what if I want more bass?? Do I just turn the gain up on the amp instead of the knob??

Wait so if I have the Money get the DMM?? or the O-Scope?? And which would b the one if I don't have te money?? And so in my case the reason I'm clipping is because I dot have the required electrical upgrades right?

Ok thanks. Now cuz my lights r dimming when I got max gain on knob and also I blew my old subs and peeps told me it was from clipping.

ok, well i would like to place it under the hood, and i think its necessary to get a second batt but i want to its only gonna be powering 500 watts, oh and a 300 watt 4 channel, i have not done the big 3 yet, and i have a stock alternator.

I want to install an extra battery to my system and i wanna buy an XS Battery. I was wondering what things I need to do and know to make this happen?? If I'm not mistaken all you need to do is connect the battery to the alternator and then to your system??
