you have to look used then, the only ones i found under 400$ that was around 2krms @ 2 ohms was the Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D ( 1700rms, which i bought ) for like 300$..the power acoustic STAX 5500 which doesnt do rated so who knows. and every other one was pushing 450$+

good luck something doing 2k @ 2 ohms or .5 ohms for 175 haha, i couldnt find anything under 500 that does 2k RMS @ 2 ohms.. and not many amps at .5 ohm stable.. if they are, they aren't much less then 400$ i think your outta luck . lol

ive noticed that as well, my buddy had a honda crv ( small suv ) and it was louder sealed then with doors / windows open, my trucks the opposite. and my car ( mazda mx3 ) is almost no different. i think it depends on the airspace of the vehicles cabin

haha chris, you could look at DD, DC, Sundown, RE , Fi, Skar, so on so forth that would probably out bang your planet audios but honestly it all depends on your power and your box.

i was messing around in my truck, i sat on the passenger side with the drivers door open with all windows closed and DAMN! was waaay louder that was ( atleast on the passenger side ) then any other way i listened to it lol im deffinetly going to meter it usaci style when i go, im hoping for a 145+.. i heard 9 10" Clarions at a local shop ( was there demo car ) and they played me a 148 on music, and mine atleast sounds like its up there! lol

im going to a local comp next month, i dont have any chance of winning, but i am going to meter my system SO i wanted to know what exactly the terms MECA, USACI, OUTLAW etc all mean? my truck isn't near as loud sealed up as it is with windows down etc. i wanna just get the loudest meter i can, but with doing something legal. so i can tell people i did a, for example , a 143.1 sealed usaci style or something lol im totally knew to the whole SPL meter game

im running 4guage and 12guage speaker right now too on my 2 15" RE sx's on a hifonics brz2400.1d... i recommend getting 1/0guage power/grounds and 8-10guage speaker wire, im switching mine out for those once i pick up some 8guage speaker wire lol, also lose the cap and get a extra red top or something cheap. i'm going to do the big 3, run 2 red tops and 1/0 guage power/ground for my BRZ2400.1D... also maybe deaden your vehicle.. and DEFFINETLY build a ported box...thats most of what i can think of

my 1998 dodge ram 1500 is running 1700rms all stock with NO problems, very little dimming or anything. so all depends on vehicle lol.

i have the Flip Ultra HD, its overall a good little camera, doesn't pick up flex the greatest, but deffinetly better then a iphone

since when is the kicker zx750.1 the cheaper side! haha! i was powering my 10" Type R at 1000rms off a Alpine MRP-M1000@ 2ohms, so anything from 500-750rms for you would work easily, dont skimp out on y0our amp, but you dont need to spend 500$ for 500-750watt amp lol , get atleast 4gauge wire, and stock electrical normally is good for 800-900rms or so. im pushing 1700rms on stock electrical ... till about next week EDIT: i just bought a Orion HCCA 2400 amp ( 1200rms @ 1 ohm, 800 @ 2 ohms ) for 200$.. so theres lots of good cheap choices to work with

well i have the old SX series subs not the SXX so i wasn't sure they still had my model of sub parts.. maybe i'll look into it, cause ive heard the sx's will outperform the sundown SA-15's and those are pretty bad ass subs lol im sure DC can recone the original SX... i know they still have recone parts... the SX and the lvl 4 shouldnt be that much off.... yeah? i just emailed tech support at RE about a recone kit, if they have or sell any. i haven't ever reconed something before so im new to that lol

not saying anythings wrong with the sxx's just i dont wanna buy a SXX to run with my SX, would rahter have two of the EXACT same subs in a box haha not one of each. my re's are loud as hell for one of them having a voice coil problem i think

so, i have had problems with one of my RE SX 15's. i thought it was the box unloading wrong, but i switched the subs around and its deffinetly something up with one of my subs. but im thinking of switching it up already to some other 15's, i want something newer then my sx's because i plan of walling my truck with 4 15's someday , so what do you recommend for 15's other then dc ( dont wanna wait a year ) for under 800$? cheaper the better so i can wall it quicker but my box is about 8cubic ft tuned to 33-35hz with a pretty big ass port lol. so i think i have alot of options for which 15's to use.. been looking at AQ HDC3's.. thinking of some sundown and fi's as well, or even the newer RE subs what you guys thinkk? oh yeah? i ended up buying a 1512 in the DD ported enclosure, ill be keeping it in the DD box untill it is broken in, so then i can really let it go, i'll be building a box for burps soon after its broken in.

fuuckk sakes. lol. i avoided building that box for like 2 months as it was.. lol, it is probably a box issue though.. maybe ill look around and see if someone has a better design to help me out lol.

yeah the port goes down 14.5" and goes in 11" , the sub that hits good is almost right above the uhm.. L shape of hte port? lol
