ive ran my brz2400.1 at .5 for probably 8 months without problems. so i know the amp can take it.. now that i think about it 1200each R isn't that much.. i've put 1200 to the original Type R's. lol
-
not too sure what it is, haven't looked much into them yet. just realised they're D2's so i can't put 2400rms to them unless i run my amp at .5 again....hope they can handle it lol
-
i think "barevids" on youtube used to run those. from the video those were pretty decent!
-
i should be getting a prefab sealed box from a buddy within a day or two so i can atleast throw them in my truck. should have them playing this weekend. not sure when ill build a proper box though. but ill post a vid for sure!
-
gonna have to say no.

im slightly jelly..been wanting to try out a pair of these
im really excited to try these out.. i rather enjoyed the old type R's so these should be good.. 1000rms rating and more excursion.
-
These are rated 1000rm correct?
they sure are!
-
well i had one of the previous models and put 1200 rms to a single 10'' so i'll put these to the test too! lol
-
ignore the dirt. bought them used for 200$.. he drove with them strapped in the box of his truck ( in a prefab enclosure) so they got a little dirty. read and work awesome, they look like new. he had for 2 weeks then decided to get rid of them? lol will be putting a hifonics Brz2400.1D on these bad boys. they weight as much as my 15" RE SX woofers! lol
-
i had 1200rms to my 10" Type R in a small sealed box for 2 months without a problem.. not sure why you think 750 is too much. the Type R's are impressive.. i just picked up the new 2012 models myself.

this offer still open? i emailed you guys through your site but got no answer, emailed on sunday, but im interested in 2 vvx-10's in a ported box etc. shipped to canada, talked to you a couple months back about this then plans changed. lol serious this time though
-
OP, save up you can get so much better 4 channels for 50-60$ more

isn't crunch a maxxsonics brand? i personally love my Hifonics amp, so im sure the crunch amps aren't all that bad.. plus hell for the price i'd personally give it a shot.. if not your out 60$ lol
yeah but practically everything maxxsonics now sucks
does it? my Brutus 2400.1D amp is about a year old and it's taken .5 daily for over a year.. on not up-to-par electrical either.. haha

i LOVE interior flex, ill try out my Drift helmet camera to see if it catches my flex, too bad i dont have a rear view anymore.. that thing went craazy lol
-
you say you are planning of upgrading to 1000 rms in the future? then i'd personally get a DD1512, Sundown E-12( ? ) , DC level 2/3 for now, then get your 1000rms amp and buy a 2nd woofer of the same one you purchased before. personally i would do the DD 1512 because i was quite impressed with mine.

Quick video of my 2 15" RE SX's flexing my truck, powered by a Hifonics BRZ 2400.1D at .5 ohms, finally got my internet to cooperate for a video. hope you enjoy.
-
yah maybe your just getting used to them, when i first put my re's in i was like " OMG THIS IS CRAZY " now im like sick of it and wanna double it. lol
-
yeah what they're saying, do big 3 and run 1/0 awg to your amp, upgrade the front battery to something beefier and you should be fine.

haha eating healthy is a pretty important part for me, i train in MMA 4 days a week, and have a couple jiu jitsu tournaments coming up pretty soon im working for, so health is always on the brain

Well hell you got it made! No heat expense in the winter time will make the wood cutting worthwhile, mowing will still suck but you gotta do what you gotta do.
If you don't have roommates this should be a good experience for you, roommates seem to cause most of the hardships of moving out. Your hardest part is going to be cooking and cleaning for yourself daily, but I'm sure you got it in ya. Good luck man.
thanks man
-
haha thanks guys
it'll be me and probably my girl living together, financially im pretty straight forward, just a new experiance lol, but yeah the winter heating is pretty cheap just a good couple weekends of me, well convincing some of my budds to come cut wood down back with me. messes up my car audio/ATV plans for a little bit though till i get everything figured out, haha
-
Other bad part is I gotta chop like tons of wood for the wood fireplace for winter, and plow lol and mow the acre of lawn lom

so just got my 150db cherry popped... hell was my 145 db cherry too! lol sat in a hyundai accent, with 2 DD9510's on 3k of clarion amps, 3 optima red tops etc etc.. he burped me a 151.3 sealed on the dash with the TL on the window...wow. i heard 150 was loud but i didnt expect that much of a jump compared to my 142-143db system i run.. very impressive for 3K RMS in my opinion! got him building me a box for my tens ... should be good!
