  1. I really don't have the extra money for the other xl,amp, battery, wire exc.

This'll be my last post in this thread, I don't want to spam your thread man...

But, no extra wiring or battery is required to simply run another XL (except for speaker wire lolol). You can run two on the DC2k and add more power when funds allow. I'll be running a BC2000 to two Lv 5 18s and buying 3 more when funds allow.

i didn't think out would perform to well only on two k. Wouldn't that hurt the speaker?
  2. I have the DC 2K and I love this thing. I just added a XS Power D3400 in the back alond with 0 Gauge and the big 3. I dont have any problems running this thing. I also run the dc 175.4 as well as another 4 channel. I'd say go with Dc with amp and subs "level 4's in whatever size you want". Just my 2 cents. Customer service is outstanding and the product speaks for itself.

  3. Ur seat will go down. Take out the bottom park of your back seat. Then unbolt the 2/4 bolts holding in your back part of your seat. Lift up and remove. Just don't put the bolts hack in and u can take it in and out as you please!

i already dk that man. I was saying they don't fold up and down like some back seat, but I'm going to make then do so if it sound better this way. Thanks though.
  4. I have a DC XL 15 in a 3.6 cube box now in the trunk facing back as well as the port. I was throwing around the idea of a new box sealed of in the cabin with port still in back. Only thing is my seat doesnt lay down. What do you guys think? Would it be louder and sound better or not? The car is a 96 Nissan Altima. I sure this will be a trial and error kind of thing, but opinions are nice as well. Hopefully some of you have had experiences with this.

  5. I pray that God will touch your friend man. I've seen some awesome things happen to people that have gone through the same thing your son has. I beleive my God can and will heal your friend. I don't what other people think about what I post on your page man, but I beleive God is and always will be the healer. I beleive and pray right now that your friend is going to come out of his coma. I'm praying and beleiving with you and your friend that God will change things for the better.

  6. I disagree with the sweet spot being 3 - 3.5. I think that's only if you're rubbing 2500 rms+ 1500 I'd open it up to around 4.5.

Also check and make sure you don't have a loose connection in the box.

I agree on the box size

I have the same sub in a 3.6 cube box and that thing is loud. I'm running it on a dc 2k, but I don't think 3.5 is to small for that sub. Rusty told me that was the best size box for that sub, and I figure that man knows what he is talking about. Not saying anyone else is wrong about his box, but mine is pretty dang loud.

  7. also note-I meant SATIN black. I want it to have a small glossy look to it.

I've been painting cars for about 6 years now and would say a matte finish by far the hardest because what ever trash is in it stays in it. You cannot buff out any imperfections in the paint. I would say take it to someone who has a good quality booth and has sprayed a car all over in a matte color. I hated spraying matte for that reason. Not saying you can't do it, but if it doesn't come out well it will proly cost you more to get it redone then it would to just take it somewhere the first time. Good luck on whatever you do though.

thanks :) and is satin the same way? that is what I meant to type

The way I always sprayed it was base coat/clear coat. The clear has a matting agent in that makes is semi flat. It will have a sheen to it like a satin color. You can also do what the call single stage/enamal in a semi flat.

  9. I am in the market for my first bike.

Well I just came up on a deal that I may not be able to pass up. It's a 06 zx9r basically new. The owner is in Afghanistan and is trying to get rid of the bike. I offered 4 grand cash and he accepted. Bike has been taken care of and has barely been ridden the past couple years.

Thing is ive never ridden a street bike, only a dirt bike..am i gonna die? Im not gonna be stupid with it, but is it "harder" to ride a larger bike starting out?

It is totally different than riding a dirtbike. Best thing I would say do if you bought is, take it to a empty parking lot and get the feel of it before riding it on the highway.
