It would help. But only if you have a custom tune made to go along with the cam swap, preferably tuning on a dyno. What car is this for?
thunderbird and i dont i was really looking for some ways to make some hps and my valves are bad so i just thought that it would what do you think i could get? exhaust, headers, intake and i just ordered a bbk throttle body it will be in monday

I've changed the box since this video and my camera picks up highs really well but not the bass. I'll put up a new video when my truck gets back from being fixed which who knows how long thats going to take. But once I get it back i'm going to takes some measurements, take the jumper seats out and start on my next build

-
sweet build how does it sound?
It actually bangs pretty good...i built the box to specs but i didnt think those tiny little 8's would hit that good
i was gonna do some 10s with somw 8s in a center console but i had a sudden change in heart

oh sorry. so its 6 to 9 cubic feet. again with the same 16sqin of port per cubic foot rule.
thanx for the reply theory1230 helped me understand it but thanx again

before displacement ill have 10.35 but i can make the box a little bigger if need be im just unsure about how to tune it but 35 sounds about right uh?
why would you need to make the box bigger? a single 15 needs 3 to 4.5cuft after displacements (assuming). just do that with the required amount of port area. you tune it by changing the height, width, and depth of the port. height and width determine port area.
its for 2 if i wasnt clear im sorry
-
AQ drivers are not meant to be put in sealed boxes
i think he is gonna go ported.
i would help more, i am just unsure of the amount of port area volume & per foot recommended for this woofer!
16sqin of port per cubic foot. 3.0 to 4.5cuft box space recommended for their 15's

anybody if someone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated thanx
-
they can go either way, ported or sealed. the dimensions you posted give to a little over 10 cu ft before displacement, what do you wanna tune it to?
i was thinking like 35
-
i just need to know if these subs can be ran sealed or ported and also the box that i want to build is 30h x 48w x 15d also its going in a ranger thanx for the info in advance

WHAT ABOUT AN SDC2.5 15 anybody know anything about these
-
Well what you gave me (48,40,15) is waaay to much for 2 15s. Depending on the power you wana give to them and what you wana tune to, id say 7-10 cubes is anuff for both. (after displacement)
what about 48w x 30h x 15d

thats just a rough estimate but like i said i just want them to hit hard
-
You definitely have enough space with those dimensions, but that 15" depth is going to make it kinda hard to not have the port directly behind a woofer.
how much would i need for it to be like steves
Don't know what you mean exactly...
you said 15 like it wasnt enough
-
Well youll have to have the subs low and port up high or vise versa, i cant remember what the civic is like.. But its deffinatly possible.
subs on top and also at the audioque website it dont say what the specs or
cams for a 4.6
in Engine and Performance - Anything for that couple extra horses!
