Amps I'm considering: AQ750 http://www.audioque.com/AQ750-Amplifier_p_46.html DTS-1000.1 http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_32465_RE-Audio-DTS-1000.1.html These will be for four Rockford P1S415's wired down to 1 ohm. I know AQ makes solid amps, but for a price that's a bit higher than the RE amp. And I haven't been able to find any reviews on RE amps, so I'm not sure what to expect quality-wise. Anyone have experience with either of these?

Well, using the recommended box volume of 2.00-2.80 cubic feet, I assume I would take the larger number since they will be underpowered. Then multiply by 4 to get the total net volume for all four woofers. Then I would get 11.2 cubic feet. Then using 12-16 square inches per cubic foot rule of thumb, I would need 134-179 square inches of port (that seems pretty big.) What do you guys think, sound like good volume? How bout port area? Will that work well for these subs? Sorry 4th post in a row, but I'm bored, and I want to figure this out.

Okay back on topic. Say I wanted four P1S415's on about 600W RMS total, what volume and port area might you recommend?

Any idea on how long this deal might be around? I wasn't planning on buying these subs soon, but I will if the deal is for a limited time.

Damn that's a great deal. Anyone think they'll be able to handle 500W+ RMS (from this amp)? Or should I go with an MB Quart amp? (I was originally going to use the 8 ohm ones to get 320W from the rockford amp. But now I'm thinking I can't pass up $42 per sub.

So smaller box for more power and bigger box for less power? That's kind of counterintuitive. When you say, "less power than RMS," do you mean less power than the RMS rating of the subs, or basically you're underpowering them? As for numbers, what might be a good volume for the setup I mentioned above?

I always see people say things like "you should go with X cubic feet and X square inches of port." How exactly do you determine what volume and port area to use? I'm planning on going with two 15" Rockford P1's on 350-400W RMS tuned to about 30 Hz.

Sounds like you're looking for a SPDT switch (single pole, double throw.) You'll probably want it to be "on-off-on." So when it's at the center it's off, then up or down will decide which lights are on. They do have some at radio shack, here But you'll probbably find better and/or cheaper ones on ebay

And also, I think it's unlikely a wall could be considered illegal, when there are some trucks and vans that do not allow you to see out the back anyway- U-Haul is the first thing that comes to mind (and they aren't considered commercial vehicles.)

Okay, well I've been planning my system for a while now, and I need some help with the mids and highs amps (and crossovers if necessary.) These are the amps I was looking at: 5000.5 and one of these two 1000.2 1000.4. My original plan was to use the 5000.5 with the 1000.2 and use this crossover. Then I would have the mids on the 2 channel amp, then 4 channels of the five channel amp would be for highs (regular and super tweeters.) The fifth channel would be for 10's that I plan to put in each door. Then I would run the amps at full frequency range since it has a crossover. However I was told that if I could use only the filters on the amp and get rid of the crossover, it would increase sound quality. So my choice then was to put the mids on the 4 channels of the 5000.5 with the HPF at 150 Hz, then use a 1000.4 for the highs with the HPF at 2-3 kHz, and leave the 10's on the same channel of the 5000.5. The problem I have for this setup is that there is no LPF for the mids. That's really the only problem I see for this setup, but I don't know how I would fix that. So, what do you guys think, should I go with the crossover; or go without it, and find a way to put a LPF on the mids?

Yeah my truck is 2wd :/ I guess I should have specified that, I didn't realize the 2wd would be any different from 4wd Do you think that setup might rub then with the 33's, or should they still be okay?

Ahh okay, so basically the wider wheels will make the tires stick out to the outside of the car more. But either size wheel will fit on the tires right?

Sweet thanks. I will be having 2-4 speakers per channel. When I said it wasn't enough, I was referring to when bumonskateboard said that 4 channels will be enough to run all front and back speakers.

should be a 15x8. but why 15" rims on a burban?... I like the look of small wheels on big tires. Is there a reason I should go bigger though? My stock rims are 15's so they should clear. And I'm looking at something like these rims but flat not gloss (not that that matters.) 8" wide seems a bit small though for 12.5" tires. Sure 15x10 wouldn't be better, or 15x8 the way to go?

Yeah, another reason I don't want 35's now. Not completely opposed to trimming, but I would rather not if I don't have to.
