  1. Well then... what are some competitively priced ~6" mid-range speakers that are 4ohm?

    each pair of speakers must be able to handle 250 watts

    I need 8 speakers total...

    Dayton audio... I think.

    U can get 8-61/2" 8ohm version wire 4 together & a 2ohm load... Now you can run 4-61/2" & a 8 on each door still using the 175.4.

    175.4= 4ch's

    2 channels = 61/2"s (4 on 1 door = 1ch)

    2 channels = 8"s (the 8" on 1 door = 1ch)

    then you still left & right channles for better tunein/EQin

    change that...

    Get the 8ohm dayton audio gear wire it to 2ohm then you still using 157.4 & now you got a front stage with 2 extra channels to run other ish... And to change up my math so you can have 8 speakers total...

    4-61/2" on each door...

    4- 8" on each door...

    3-61/2" & 1- 8" on each door...

    .........so on & so on

    You get what I'm saying... From what I see & hear Dayton audio won't hit your bank hard plus they sound good...
