anyway meade, take it easy man. there will always be haters out there who just troll others for no other reason. they get some sick pleasure seeing others down. these people are what's wrong with car audio.

just keep on doing what you are doing man!!

    cheers!

  2. Who wants to help us PWN a scammer?

Somebody just used a stolen credit card to purchase an alternator from our online store, but we might be able to catch it in time. The fraudulent delivery address is:

    1200 Cameron Creek

    Marietta, GA 30062

The package is shown as out for delivery- If anyone can go to this address and intercept the package, and also post pictures of the building and any vehicle's associated with it, we might be able to catch this criminal. We are offering $500 MECHBUCKS good towards the purchase of any alternator reward for anyone who can do this.

HELP US GET THIS CLOWN !!!!

It's assholes like this who increase the cost of goods for everyone!!!

I'll throw in a set of Shok Buds in addition to what mechman is offering to anyone who helps to catch this a$$hole.

matt: link posted up on my shok page too.

  3. If you are on a tight budget the CCA is good wire but I wouldnt use it in a high powered application. Think about it this way, if you are dropping a couple grand in subs, amps, and batteries, why would you buy the cheaper less conductive wire.

    hi there :)

do check out our facebook page over here and see the various rides hooked up with this cable.

    http://www.facebook.com/pages/Shok-Industries/344771612271?ref=ts#!/pages/Shok-Industries/344771612271?sk=photos

we've got people running 1kw to 16kw on the Reference CCA wire, competing with it, winning with it and loving it.

Mechman's competition car for SBN is also on the Reference Series cable as well :)

    Cheers mate!

  4. Hi all,

How’s everyone. Hope everyone is having a good 2011.

Anyway, I got some new builds to share with you guys in the new year.

We recently took on Ground Zero down here and glad to say, GZ is some good stuff!

We all know that GZ makes some hardcore subs and monoblocks that are meant to get loud, but DAM! They make some awesome SQ gear.

The biggest shocker is their Plutonium Pure SQ Amplifier!

I’ve got some guts shots coming up, so read further.

Anyway, for this build, we have a customer that was using the Clarion D2 and intended to stay as a 2 way active setup.

    Here’s the gear:

    Headunit: Clarion D2

Speakers: Usher Diamond DMD tweeter with Usher 8” mid bass

    Woofer: Focal 33kx

    Amplifiers: 1 x Ground Zero Plutonium Pure SQ 2 channel ( GZPA2)

    1 x Ground Zero Plutonium Pure SQ 4 channel ( GZPA 4)

Wiring: Shok Industries Reference 5250 1/0 Cable

    Dampening: STP

    Rear Battery: Odyssey

Anyway, here’s the car, a Honda accord

    IMG_8965Small-1.jpg

the bare boot test fitting the amp

    IMG_8970Small.jpg

    now for the drivers:

Diamond DMD Tweeter ( very nice home tweeter)

    IMG_8971Small.jpg

    IMG_8974Small.jpg

    and the 8” mid bass

    IMG_8976Small.jpg

these drivers are 8 ohms. One thing I love abt the these GZPA amps are that, they are POWERFULL AS F**K!

The 2 channel is rated at 2x 420 watt and the 4 channel 4x150.

    The focal sub

    IMG_8993Small.jpg

But what is crazy about this amp are the components.. MUNDOFF parts! Sweet as hell ( stay tuned for guts pics!)

    Anyway, wiring up the car,

    Shok Industries Reference 5250 1/0 cable ( 2 runs)

  6. Hi Guys,

Earlier on this month, i posted up some pictures of my new products, as some of u might know, i've selling car audio accessories down here in Singapore.

Anyway, here's my new line of 1/0 gauge.

5200 strands of pure copper!!! woohooo!!

the casing is 99% identical to RF 1/0 gauge and if i'm not wrong, kicker hyperflex and around 95% similiar to that of KNU kolossus flex

anyway, goods are still in Singapore, and i'm thinking how to get them sold in the US

I'm definitely setting up an a sub forum here in CACO and also in SMD( need to get hold of meade or one of hte mods). Only problem is distribution in the US.

anyway, if u guys have any ideas let me know.. haha.

here are the pics. My new cable is in the dark brown casing. The blue one is my older line of cables

The cable in blue is my current older line that is sold locally. For a comparison, here's some comparison pics of that cable beside RF's cable, KNU kollossus flex

  7. Looks good, what would be the hang ups of getting it in the US market?

    heya,

for the US market, the biggest problem would be shipping.

i already calculated it out and problem is that i need a " distributor" who is willing to buy a bulk.

OR is assuming, you guys are interested, there needs to be enough spools to make it worth the shipping cost, and also, someone will have to re-send it out to the respective buyers

but ooo well, its still a bit early, i already have another line that is in circulation down here in singapore, but this one would be the higher end stuff.. heeh

thanks for the well wishes and encouragement guys! i'll see what i can do, running low on cash man :(

    Cheers!

  8. DAMN! Hope this venture works out great for you! I also would like to add that if you need a stateside person to test your product My van is a great guinnea pig :D

    haha.

i actually have a current cheaper line for my local market, thinking of ways how to get my ass into the US market.

but once they're in and i see how much money i have left, then we can work something out.

    muahahahahah

thanks for the well wishes too man

    cheers!

  9. ahh i see.. yeah my parents are orignally from Laos/Thailand.. and me being the only son born in the USA, i wanna go back and visit my other side of the family i havent met before..
