  1. speaking of gas... here's a question i've had in the back of my mind for awhile in watching this build:

how full is the gas tank on the hoopty? i'm assuming it had a full tank (or close) when it got to steve's house, but over the past two years its been running quite a bit and obviously it hasnt been driven to a gas station to fill up. how is that working? is it down to like a quarter of a tank? have you used a little 2 gallon tank to put more gas in it?

  2. IIRC 2002 was the last year that escalades came without stock HIDs, and i dont remember seeing that the hoopty had aftermarket HIDs in any of the earlier videos

any plans to put in aftermarket HIDs?

i would hate to see a vehicle worth $100,000+ not look its finest for lack of a $250 headlight mod

The 12,000k HID conversion was finished last night (high, low, and fog) and it looks SPECTACULAR! Anyway a little more work today and ill have some updates tonite :)

That's what I like to hear! Definitely looking forward to those pics too!

Steve has 7000s in the lows and fogs in his 2001 Tahoe, now Chicken has 12000s in the lows and fogs in his 2002 Escalade. I'd love to see some comparison pics for color/brightness differences for sure

  3. VERY good choice...

i had a viper 5900 in my previous vehicle, and i have a python 990 (exact same thing with different stickers/badges) in my current vehicle.

awesome range, plenty of outputs for expansion modules - all around damn near the best remote start/alarm you can buy

i'm definitely looking forward to those pics!

you're doing a HELL of a job on this project though... i'm lovin every minute of it

  5. You gotta love making people bail out of the car 20 seconds into a demo. The thing that really gets me is how they can never seem to find the door handle, which is weird because everybody and their mother has a Silverado/Tahoe/Escalade/Yukon/Sierra, so you'd think that they would know where it was.

One nitpick - at the beginning, where you have the list of equipment in the vehicle, you put the stuff from the Escalade (8 BTLs, 2 T15Ks, 2 alternators, etc.) instead of what you have in the Tahoe (4 BTLs, 23K RF Watts, 4 alternators, etc.). Anybody else see that?

Looking forward to watching the rest!
