Can it be my amp or 2 blown subs because i can hear popping in both the subs

Got in my Jeep this morning to go to work & started to turn the volume up on the stereo then............ pop.... sounds like its coming from both subs. I can listen to at lower volume. This sh#t sucks

Only if you have a regulated power supply in your amp.
If it's unregulated, current stays the same, you just increase the power output by increasing the voltage input
What impedance are you running the amp at?
1 ohm

Man I don't have anymore advice except get your voltage up higher and try and mount some fans in there.
See if you can come up with a better ground circuit.
I'm tapped out.

I'm no expert but you need to get over 13 volts.
The more voltage = less amperage = less heat build up.
The voltage is around 13.3-12.7 when im playin music, it only drops down lower than that when i let someone listen to it & really turn it up. Still waiting for the MLA module but he said it will be a few more weeks

A pic of how the amp is mounted would be helpful.
The amp is between the back door & the subs box, not very much airflow in the back because the box is so big

Just curious have you been checking your voltage drops while playing that large of an amp?
The lowest i have seen it is 12.2, when it gets that low i turn it down for a while. I only let it go down that far for a couple of seconds at the most

Today i went on a little drive and i was playing music for about 1hour & 15min not full tilt but i was pounding a little, then my amp shutdown so pulled over & the amp was very very hot. What can i do to keep it cooler. Help

Im a SouthSider. 805 Ventura County, im about a hour & 1/2 away. It sucks that car audio is not that big around here any more, but that dont stop me.

What you may be stuck doing, is just getting some MDF rings, raise another 3/4" inch, make some 20" OD 16.625" ID rings, glue, and screw them down, and bolts and t-nuts
that sounds like a good idea, just need to see if i have 3/4" to give because my back seat is already close

I use these in with t-nuts
1 1/4inch long 1/4 wide.
t-nuts is what i wanted to use but the cutouts are a little big to use them
