damn, lol see i wanna know all that! like i want to be able to be the one that can be saying to myself, alright in this car with these subs it would be best for sealed, or ported facing back, etc.. ugh i guess itr just takes alot of experience. im just looking for a good place to start

two 12" kicker solo X, 2006 ford explorer, about 45" x 30" x 30", but i got help from ray on my box, but for like helping my friends with boxes and whatnot, i can never seem to get it right using manufacturer specs and online calcs, so i dont know where to go

hey everyone, i was just wondering, how do you actually make a good SPL box? I know its a dumbass question but i mean, i've built boxes, to manufacturer specs, and ports tuned with online port calculators, and its always sounded like total sh**. i was just wondering if anyone had any tips on how or where to learn all of it? thanks alot

oh yea and should i do a single chamber for both subs? or a seperate chamber for each one?

im not sure, probably just rectangle ports built out of mdf, but im open to any suggestions.

I have two 12" kicker Solo X and hopefully about to have a rockford t30001 going to each sub. I have a 2006 Ford Explorer, and i want to build a box that is for daily driving, but that can hit some good numbers when it needs to. any suggestions on the box? dimensions, ideas, design, port size, i am open to ALL suggestions. Thanks guys!
