Defiant_Audio: I have a 136AMP alt, and just bought a duralast gold. When I have the bass all the way up, my battery voltage starts to drop.
I know using this battery will help, but with my current alternator I do not know if I can use the battery will stress the alternator.
Can you clear this confusion up? Thanks

Update: I had a bad car battery so after buying a new duralast gold top I am running good. However the subs can't be turned all the way up when stopped.
I ordered 25' of TechFlex and 2011 kicker zx750.1, 2x kicker cvx 12", hp touchpad w/ case and screen protector, and gray speaker box carpet.
All going in the truck next week. Killer setup. Boxes sound great btw.
Stay tuned, I have a custom center fiberglass box that Im making. Key & lock system.
Will update as I can.

Im having power issues, both of these amps are drawing too much power.
I need to add a new alt and another battery.

Right on, I may eventually mount them. Got some thicker fiberglass mat today, and Im using far more resin then I thought I needed.
So later I need to go get some more resin. I have hopefully only 2-3 more layers on each box.

It takes two seconds to countersink it....
No, its temporary. The infinity thing pops out giving me a temporary mount. Besides, when the doors close I dont like the flush mount where you have it. It needs to be angled towards you.

Congrats on the system of the month win, I plan on building fiberglass boxes. With the way I have them designed now I have well over 1.2Ft of air space on each sub.
Tomorrow im running 50ft of Monster 16GA Speaker Wire, starting the fiberglass molds (& hopefully finishing them).
Running 20ft Of 6Channel RCA Interconnects, installing a waterproof MIDI 100AMP Fuse near the battery, installing 200AMP MIDI Fuses at the distributor.
And hopefully firing it all up to finally jam to. I am so excited.

Looking for some help on hooking up the remote start portion of my system. The alarm is all nicely hooked up using chall. Remote start is the only task left unfinished.
Here is how it is supposed to be installed:

I have a relay, and some of them hooked up. But I just don't understand diagrams that well. I like step by step instructions that are detailed or photos.
If someone could please assist me by telling me which colored wires from where go to the relay and which wire connections I need to make by describing the color of the wires.

Nah man, Im pulling that thing out and putting a Kicker 750.1 and two CVRs.
It will use almost half the power and put out twice as much as I am getting right now.
