    I'm looking for a good priced rd heavyweight 15's I can spend 400$ Max each sub or I'm open to something with a nice 4" coil for a decent price but not over 400$ a sub let me know if you have something avail ill have cash in hand in 2 weeks.....or I have 2 cadence daytona 15's I can trade for the right subs......

  11. what amps run under 1000rms at 4 ohm and make good power at 1ohm?

    Oh.... hmmmm

    Since you can only get down to .5ohm you might be best off finding two amps that do 500rms each at 4ohm and running them strapped at .25 each for SPL only.

    Or, if your series about this and you only want one amp you should get different woofers with the ability to go to a lower ohm load. .33 or lower so you can really get some power flowing.

    If you can get low like that I'd reccomend an RD Audio D9, Sundown Audio SAZ-4500, Atomic 5000, or something along those lines.

    Ok cool thanks ill go check out those amps....i might change subs two if i see an chance for gain....2 500rms amps at 4 ohm loads work two it dosnt have to be just one amp im after most rms i can get in the 1000rms at 4 ohm range.....so 2 500rms amps are ok two....

    Take a router or some sandpaper to the port openings in order to give them a rounded opening. Be sure to do this on the inside as well.

    I have areo ports so that wouldnt do much good thank though....i think i just need bigger ports....im like 20dbs louder in my port then i am in my kick so i might see a gain going bigger port two :drinks:

    will that help? Last year I hit a 139 sealed at the dash which sucked and hit a 156.1 in the port I was told that was pretty good but Im not sure I have never cared about numbers

    Idk i could loose i could gain.....only one way to find out....

    Could you give us some more details on your setup?

    What do you wanna know?im more then shure it just needs an bigger port....but ill humer you...

    I have an 7.4 mdf box glued, screwed, fiberglassed, braced, 45s, rouned sub wholes 2 15" subs firing fowerd, port up 2 6" round ports flared on both ends tuned to 32 hrtz box is sealed and dosnt flex its an coffin...it just has an lil port noise so im going to throw 2 "8 areos in there and call it an day.... :drink40:
