You could start with one @ 0.5ohm for around 4,000watts total then add another later. 6,000watts is what they're rated but I believe in the actual strapped test they made closer to 7,000watts.
so the numbers are max and not rms?
-
if you already have D2's you could run each one on a single amp or both on 1 but again its pretty pricey and how much is the t3k you were looking at
i believe it was like 700-800. so for the price of the saz-3000 i would be getting almost the same amount as a t4k for half the price almost.
-
about 800, youd have to find a dealer though, they may be able to cut you a deal for less,
but there isnt any in stock at this time so youd have to find a used one
what do you mean that there isnt any in stock everyone is out of stock or something??

sorry i posted the same thing twice by accident\..

at half ohm with stout electrical youd see roughly 4k maybe a little less. so go from there
and thats with just one saz-3000 correct? how much do they cost?
-
i woudlnt even try to run a t3k unless you have the stuff to properly power it....any rockford amp is power hungry...i would get your power situated before you buy the amp
yea i know i need to upgrade the electrical but i would like to get the amps now and have that out of the way then get the alts. since i will need to have the bracket made.
-
Do not wire a Rockford amp to 0.5ohm. It will fry, guaranteed. A pair of RF T20001BDs would do nice. I'd personally look for a Sundown SAZ-3000d and run it @ 0.5ohm. It'll be cheaper than a pair of RFs and you can use the money saved for electrical upgrades.
ok yea thats what i was thinking (that it would fry)... so if i was to get the sundowns should i get two of the saz-3000d's? would i get the most out of them this way?
-
well i dont really have that much cash (at the moment) ill have enough for a t3k i would like to run the t4k but its double in price almost. electrical i havent done anything other than a battery upgrade. i was wanting to do a dual alternator keep the stock one for my car and get like a 300amp alt. or something just for my amps and stuff. you guys know where i can get a dual alt. bracket for a 04 xtreme blazer. i guess it would be smart to stop where im at and not get the amp but get my electrical upgraded. beings that if i dont the amp would be pretty much useless. im not really trying to save money on my setup as was stated "rockford and btl" lol but it would be nice ..... thanks for the ideas oh yea i might have said it already but i have 2 btl 18s fully loaded dual2. (hope all this makes sense)
-
yea, but they still would be better at 4600 rms or w/e the t4 does.... or just go with a t3k, and 2 bl's you would save money..but "I" would go with 1 btl a t4k, then save up and get the other btl when u can
well i already have both btls just need amps now
-
k cool... yea im planning on ordering a t3k sometime next week i really want to get a t4k but i will only have enough for the t3k so i guess it will have to do.
-
would two btl 18s fully loaded with a t3k be louder than 1 btl on the same amp. either combo in the same amount of cubic feet? also what would happen if i wired the two subs in series down to .05ohm would it burn the amp up? the subs are dual 2 ohm. is there any way to wire the amp and subs to get them at 1 ohm or something?
-
ok well then ill have to wait till i have all of the money then so its done right the first time
-
what is the lowest that i would be able to go without c notching the frame?
-
oh true dumb question
-
what is the differences between the two versions
-
i dont have really anything bad to say about it i like it. its just my sticker machine doesnt work with it neither does my printer or scanner. this whole time i thought it was the machines but a buddy said that it was vista.? is there a way that i can make the machines compatible with my laptop?
-
only problem on the amps they are 16v
-
i have a sony vaio vgn-sz430n with windows vista. i was wondering what would happen if i was to put the program/back up disc for winows 2000 or xp pro if it would ruin my computer?
-
where can i get something like that at (the meter)
-
haha thats for sure.WOOPS i said s-10 it was a ranger LOL, ya hes stupid.....he would last about as long as those 2 guys did. No offense but most of you would do the same
if it wasnt me on the dial but someone else, id do the same its easier to take when your at the helm for sure
-
lmfao that guy with his rangeer is an idiot..
-
