Not bad. How far away were you shooting from. And AR-15s are fun due to there light recoil.
I took about 5 shots from 10 yards, then moved it to the back wall (about 25-30 yards)..
I was trying to hit him in the eyes!
EDIT: and yea I did notice the light recoil even though this was my first gun.. How much more is the recoil in a .. say bigger gun?

And there is way more recoil shooting 3.5" buckshot or .45-70
You might come home from shooting with a huge bruise on your shoulder even if you held her nice and tight lol.
