  1. I would like to first say thank you Eric at Mechman for taking the time to help me with any and all questions. (there were alot! haha) Mechman has provided a service far surpassed by other alternator companies I was searching prior to go going with Mechman. Responses both via Email and Phone! everytime! FAST! Very helpful in every respect and made sure the right decision for my particular vehicle setup was the right one. Very fast shipping as well. If you guys are still on the fence still not able to make up your mind as to what alternor to go with. TRUST ME go with MECHMAN. Just the service alone is GREAT and with reliable, powerful alternators at a great price- what else can you ask for. They have been in business since the 70's so you know they got something worthy! Oh and also if you guys want some awesome cabling/accessories check out SHOK industries which can also be bought direct from mechman. THANKS AGAIN MECHMAN!

So mechman is worse than other companies ? :pardon:

  2. Thank you sir. .67 sounds great. My one has been running at .66 daily and had no issues at all. :drinks:

If you wire to .66 with two amps strapped each amp will see .33 ohm.

You'd be better off at 1.5 for daily, then each amp would be at .75 ohm.

  3. Heres how i believe it is working. When you open your trunk that extra pressure that you have in your car is escaping. Think of it like your subwoofer box, the bigger the port is, the lower your tuning. Thats pretty much the same thing thats going on here.

Now for how to get around it, maybe drop the tuning of your box down a little? Or try to do a sub up/port back or vice versa box.

Im not a big box designer so dont take what im saying as the truth, just trying to chime in and maybe help you out. If Ray or RAM_Designs sees this, see what they say about this.

The second bolded statement is the only useful portion of your post.
